Knowing the fact that we have the decals of Clan Diamond Shark and the Mad Cat Mk II coming on the way, that clan should be in the game along with the Nova Cats and Steel Vipers. They were a reserve clan with those two, so it would make sense for the Sharks to join in.

In my completely biased opinion, that is paid for by the Clan Diamond Shark merchant caste, I wholeheartedly agree that CDS should be added to the game.

Next PGI is gonna tell us that it takes 6 months and a quarter million dollars to do the intense programing to set up the identical rewards path for a new faction. Sorry guys, they blew their financial wad on the vipers (ed) and cats. No new factions unless sufficient mech packs are sold to justify such a huge expenditure.

We have decals and heroes from Hells Horses, Star Adder, Ice Hellion (actually I forget if their decal is in.... no loss), Cloud Cobra, too.
So TBH, while I wouldn't mind more clans, I'd call that a pretty weak argument. (of course, the DS are a weak clan, too, so maybe that's fitting?)

They sold the mk II and they were captured by other Clans, so I don't consider the mkII being in to be terribly relevant, either.

I mean, to be perfectly honest and fair, if all the non-Big Four require the exact same special coding so they cannot have the ability to technically claim their own planets, why even stop at the Diamond Sharks? Why not add all the clans?

Indeed.... especially with the IS having the ability to push to the Homeworlds.... and with no real adherence to lore... why not have the Goliath Scorpions, Fire Mandrills, etc, all set to fight?

I wouldn't say it is a weak argument, but more of a fact. Since we do have Diamond Shark memorabilia in this game, might as well make use of it.

We have a proud history of victories in inter-Clan combat, and fought excellently alongside Clan Jade Falcon during the invasion. If we had been allowed to lead our full forces in the invasion, you would speak differently about our strength.

the point being that unless you plan to expand that to every other clan we have memorabilia for, then you defeat your own argument. Thus, might wanna get the whole one for all thing going. Cuz ya see, why use that argument in an exclusive manner, when you could be using it in such a way as to get all the Goliath Scorpions, Hell Horses, Cloud CObras, Coyotes, etc backing ya?

I mean I know cooperation and deep planning ain't the clan strong suit n all... but I'm just saying laddy buck, I'm jes sayin!

I mean, timeline wise, it makes sense for CNC, CDS, and CSV, if we're talking about minimizing workload for PGI. Absence of even one of those three seems oddly arbitrary. However, as I said, if the special coding that goes into CNC and CSV are identical, why not include all the non-big four at the same time? Or, at least, one by one in subsequent patches?
