Well, actually, if I'm remembering correctly, the SupaHunchDakkaBear's reign of terror was a result of potato play and a bug with Clan UAC 10 Ghost Heat(ie, it had none).

It's the same as it was back during the Era of the KDK-3. People would sit there and face-tank, get killed, then complain that it was the mech being OP that was the problem.
The Annihilator can run either 4x AC10 for 16.00 DPS with a 20+20 alpha, or 6x AC5 for 18.06 DPS with a 30 alpha.
The KDK-3 could run 4x UAC10 for around 22.4 DPS with a 40+40 alpha, or after UAC10 ghost heat nerfs, 2x UAC10 + 2x UAC5 for around 19.6 DPS with a 30+30 alpha.
And the KDK-3 could do that while moving significantly faster than the Annihilator, with vastly superior acceleration/deceleration and torso twist speed, massive shield arms
and higher weapon mounts.
The KDK-3 was wildly overpowered and vastly better than the Annihilator.

The only thing the ANH can really do that the KGC can't is quad UAC10
Quad IS UAC10 is not a good or even viable build on the Annihilator;
it is either limited to around 41.3 kph, or
requires an XL to hit 48.6 kph.
It only has around 6 tons of ammo, and it will overheat terribly.

I also wonder how many of those defending the ANH were also those who moaned, cried and complained about how OP every decent Clan mech that ever came out was.
I don't recall much of that for the Marauder IIC, Linebacker and Huntsman, which are all decent/good mechs.
