i've blown my top at guys who did utterly potato things like walking into me backing off from a storm of fire and CONTINUING to walk forward, leaving me to die (and then he followed me into oblivion seconds later).
i've also been on the receiving end of salt because i called that the enemy team was pushing our left and we should set up a line to receive them. "who died and made you leader?" was what i got in return. the team proceeded to nascar and we lost.
maybe that's why i generally have a pretty high threshold for "toxicity" though. personally, if a drop caller yells to "**** IT, PUSH PUSH TAKE E8 NOW. GO!", i'm perfectly fine. some more delicate people react badly to raised volume of any kind though, and i'm perfectly fine with that too.
there are two kinds of people and all that.
so far, in 2 years of playing, i can count on one hand the number of times voip or chat abuse got out of hand. that's pretty damn good. you get that in as many matches in games like dota or lol. so i'm with bud crue on this one.

The negativity in this game compared to others is mild. Both forums and in game. BF and CoD both have a lot more negativity. The king of toxicity is WoT though. There is absolutely no point in trying to discuss anything in a match or on the forums, they don't make fire suits with a high enough rating to handle that level of flaming.
