Sooo I am going out on a limb here a bit that say the next large pack for us will be IS Omni's. Or be a stretch of 4 to 6 chassis. With the current era of this game I feel that some of these need to be added. Not for meta shifting but for the lore of the era and game setting. (Personally still feel Omni's need to have save able loadouts that you can select from in drop screens, like 2 to 3 per mech)

Sooo I would go with atleast 1 chassis per weight class here simular to Clan Wave 2 & 3. But here are the options.

IS omnis that are locked to XL = fail. Any mech locked to an XL engine that doesn't have amazing hit boxes is DOA. PGI screwed the pooch on IS omnis a long time ago when they decided XL engine side torso death should be a thing. That a horrible, stupid decision that killed many other concepts long before they were even born, like IS omnis. The Sunder in particular is very boxy and large. That would be one giant death trap with its locked XL engine. IS omnis shouldn't even be considered in MWO. Don't even think it.

You may want to add the Firestarter and Blackjack Omnis, also the IS Battle Cobra. Not that they are great, but compared to the Strider....

And Avatar, a Mech with fixed XL, easily singled out STs, and low speed on top of that.

You are Clan, fine, but please don't sabotage the IS.

Your poll. I always tried to err on the side of inclusion.

Your decision to exclude omni-redux is kind of weird as well, considering how thin the IS omni field is, and the weight changes on some of them. And if that's what you're doing, shouldn't the Perseus be cut too, since it IS an Orion?

No grey area. It is an IS Mech with IS TechBase.

Ok will update poll in a sec, just updated the list above though.

If they did the Battle Cobra there is no way though they could do just the IS version with out the Clan version....that's why I seems off specially if done in a pack of 4. But added on non the less.

They can always allow engine change in omnies. And make a lot of clan ones not as terrible in the process.

Raptor please... Owens would be useless. I think the Blackhawk KU would definitely be better than an Avatar but I know the Avatar is more popular.. And yeah, Sunder all the way.

I don't think many people want the Battle Cobra, no matter what tech base.

Why would people buy IS omnis when standard battlemechs are superior in almost every way? Most clan omnis are heavily gimped by the lack of tonnage due to oversized engines and inability to add endo-steel/FF. Unless the IS omnis come in with OP quirks and they cherry pick them to avoid the ones with oversized engines....wait....that sounds like something PGI would do...
