Well, I mean, there was that period where it was IS mechs only available, none of us had any choice in our positioning, but yeah, when I rejoined after a break, it took me about 10 minutes of comparison in mechbay/store, before I sold every last scrap of IS related gear and bought myself a Kodiak. And yeah, never really looked back, even after this new IS tech, the customisability options for clan are simply superior and they more often end up more damaging and just as efficient, even after all the recent balancing too.

The gap does seem to be getting closer though.
