We all know none of the units currently playing for the clans are going to switch back for an event, that might mean they'll miss out on cool rewards. It happens every time.

Come on Khal, you know BCMC started off as clans last Tuk and switched before the halfway point to fight for the IS; and we were not the only ones.

Many more went clan than went I.S. during the event.

Only to a degree. KCom for example, is JF loyalist, despite the fact there are new Clans for new rewards.

We got snake tats to impress the chicks.

We're Viper Loyalists to farm LP. That's it. While some of us would love to play IS mechs I think the consensus is that balance significantly favors Clans and there's no possible way we can carry the pug weight in IS right now, so there's no way to tag any planets. While so many tears are shed over KCom rampaging over all of FW the reality is that we're a tiny percentage of total drops. We play to get matches and have fun and if the pugs in IS were not so absolutely terrible and we had equal odds of tagging worlds in IS, we'd probably play IS anyway with balance being off at least now and again for the variety.

However balance is bad, that skews population and the IS pugs are so bad we can really only play in 12mans in IS and we'll never tag a world. Not that we even need the MC or cbills - we put 1 million cbills in the kitty for every TK and let me tell you there's a vast fortune there. I dunno how much MC is there, I suspect only Pat really even checks on it. Like everyone else though we want to feel like our successes are doing something. Not that it even matters much in FW as it is, it's still better than nothing.

Early on, before I was even in KCom but pugging all over, you constantly saw KCom 4man and 6man teams. They would even split 12s into 2x6 to help carry pugs to drive more total wins. However as pugs got worse and worse that became less and less viable and more and more frustrating. It seems like a catch 22.

I can say with absolute certainty though that if IS/Clan balance was better you'd see every unit playing both sides more regularly. Maybe that would get the pugs to stop being such absolute nitwits if they consistently got to play with good teams and see what that looked like.

If nothing else though it would help balance population.

And if evil, kcom switched to IS a few other units will follow, tipping the scale completely the other way. Clan homeworlds would be surrounded next phase.

Soon™

Soon, as in, when they actually program said system in Faction Warfare, because Clans moved so far and so fast like Patton in World War II that it caught even the devs by surprise.

So PGI where are these Capital Planet Conflicts?

Well, they could just let us keep doing what we do for a little longer. Maybe until the smoking cougars have surrounded the capital of the house of the rising sun and we wolves together with clan Icebear get the capital of house City Wok.

Ok, now Tharkad, Luthien and Atreus are surrounded by clans and IS didn't get a single ******* planet from clan space. What's next? Some reasonable event?

There will be event(s) where the clans stomp the I.S.

eventually followed by a map reset

PGi changes nothing and the cycle repeats.

It will be either The Matrix version 7 or groundhog day #7, not sure which.

Hang on lets stick to facts, the clans have not surrounded anyone, the mercs have surrounded your homeworlds. Last I checked 228, and Evil were contracted to the clans. Also several other merc units have contracted to the clans.I know the clans would not be anywhere near controlling this much territory if it were not for the merc units. Those pilots that have done faction warfare long enough know this to be true.

Yes still waiting on a faction warfare special event where my Jade Falcons take on the Clan Wolf. It sounds like we are moving into another end season phase. Which according to quotes means something more?

Personnel opinion if I were the devs, I would stop making mechs for awhile and deliver on some of this. To say Jade Falcons ting off against Clan wolf would be popular would be a understatement. Mechs are short term content solutions, its time to get some of this long term content stuff done.

That's only if you assume they are willing, or anyone, to give up the easier button Clans provide.

As posts show during this event and Clans complaining about wait times and dry drops, they are not willing to give up the easier button and guaranteed win.

Last time they or any large amount of Clans went IS and the IS started to win, what happened? Clans complained they were winning and wanted IS tonnage 'advantage' removed. Once they went back to Clan and Clan went back to winning, did they want IS tonnage 'advantage' increased? No.

If Clan do not win, nerf IS. IF Clans are winning, good.

Three faction, one bucket system is the fail of CW. With one faction able to swing balance based on event rewards and shiney crap is the fail of CW.

Just waiting for people to hit their target loyalist ranks.

Also, how's this for an event? https://mwomercs.com...vent-sound-fun/

Except for when the clans are stomping through the I.S., they still want more

Let's ignore the fact that clans won Tukkayid 2.

Let's ignore the fact that Clan Jade Falcon destroyed the I.S. in phase 3.

Let's ignore the fact that I.S. has won what? 20 phases in 6 months.

Let's ignore the fact that clans won Tukkayid 3.

Let's ignore Russ when he said the clans have 25% more top tier players than the I.S.

Let's ignore Chris Lowrey said clan mechs perform 8% better than I.S. mechs.

"Balance" is better than it's ever been Posted Image

So P.G.I. please give the clans back their tonnage.
