A real, honest to goodness FW Event this weekend. With Loyalist rewards.

Not like they're actually going to win, which is the condition for said 90 tonner if I read the event correctly.

I may be too easily pleased...but at first blush, I will call this a "win" for loyalists

No, the condition for the mech is 12 matches with at least 150 score. Winning is not required, everyone gets a ribbon for trying!

You definitely reading wrong...

There is no actual win/condition here by the look.

Just rewards as long as individual has wins... Not sure what the point of fighting over something is exactly is there isn't such a condition.

You'd be surprised how easy it will be for me to get the other Mariks in FP with these rewards. :P

Guys, read ingame event details, not site. If sphere win - they will get a Mauler, if not - 4kk cbills. As well as clans with MLX. Two different "12 >150 matchscore" challenges which depend on a result of a conflict

Well they need 12 with at least a 150 match score anyway......

Wait, what do we need to do to actually "win" the planet?

Get the tug-of-war bar to Clan capture thresshold at the end of the bar?

Or get the bar a percentage within Clan favor, regardless of total tug-of-war's position?

Because as Faction Warfare is designed, the only way Clans can actually win a planet is to get the capture bar all the way in Clan favor, but if it's anything less than top 28% in our favor, the planet remains in Inner Sphere possession - therefore, Clans lose...

Which means Clans have a minuscule chance of planet capture...

Ah yes true. Correct you are.

They are trying to "balance the population" by offering a Mauler for IS win and Mist Lynx for Clan Win...

Meaning you can't earn both.

BUT

As a Merc you can likely qualify for both sides and take a punt? That's how prev events have gone...

Next question.

If you're not Kurita or Smoke Jaguar, does your battle performance count towards the conflict on Luthien, or just the overall Faction Warfare conflict?

Thats odd, in the game event dealy there is a condition with Victory and a condition with Loss. Victory has the MX90. The 12 games with 150 Match Score is the same for each, but they are separate 'events'.

As they are separate... Does that mean Victory is simply completing the task or not?

Bombast screen'd the IS side... But Victory gets the mech, Defeat looks to get cbills?

Honestly, it looks confusing. And doesn't exactly reflect what the front page is saying on the website about a win/defeat reward, if I'm looking at both correctly.

Ah ok, the webpage doesn't show win or loss... my bad

In that case, clans win!

No. One side wins and other loses. You can't be on the winning side and losing side at the same time.

I don't see it anyhow confusing. Notice the categories objective and conflict.
