Hi Matt,

We desperately need balancing mechanisms to even out player experience between IS/Clan, a handicap system to let a meta team fight a pug team where both sides have fun, and events that can dynamically adjust to imbalances to make the final result uncertain.

Sound hard? All 3 can be accomplished in 1 month using ideas posted at the threads

1) change MC reward to be maximized when strength is balanced, current rewards encourage imbalance and stacking
2) use a pilot BV system to allow players to see relative strengths of teams and take voluntary handicaps
3) design events that can throw curve balls that will make the fight closer

Lets take steps to improve FP one small step at a time,

just won a scouting match with the required match score, not registered. I fired off an email to support. Lord knows when someone will get into the offices and look at the forums (its not even 9am in Vancouver yet).

I'm a Merc working for Liao. I assumed in the Great War against the Clans that this event would work for me - sure I don't get the Kurita bonuses, and rightly so too. I had an Invasion, scored 250+, nothing appears on my event tally. Is it broken, am I simply ineligible for the event or is it that I don't get an event success unless I randomly happen to be dropped on Luthien? If that's the case then you can count me out. I can't play Invasions 24/7 for the next 4 days in the hope I'll get a fight that counts. That's completely broken right there.

sry, I have a question: must I be loyalist to partecipate? Cos I am mercenary for House SomkeJaguar, I won 4 Scout games with more than 150 points, but nothing happened. and if I look the site, nothing happened there too...

Just made 2 FPs, didn´t count them. Do you have to fight on the planets stated in the event? Cause those planets aren´t even in the vote list.

yeah we are all eligible, it just isn't working, can't be the planet thing as some of those planets aren't even in the voting list for targeting, i guess they just entered the wrong parameters which means they just made a bit of work for themselves.

I just won one scouting match and one invasion match both above 150 match score (clan Wolf loyalist) there is zero progres showing after that in all active events.

So just to be clear these events and their rewards is only for the clan Smoke Jaguar Loyalists and Kurita Loyalists, is that right ?

I'm guessing the battle has to be on one of the listed planets - why else list the planets?

Problem is none of those planets appear currently in my Faction Play list.
