What if I join a faction as a loyalist now, can I get the rewards? At the moment I'm faction-less so...

Ok, when the faction mode was changed, it was described that during the fight for each capital world, ONLY that world would be the available conflict.

Yes, if you join now, you'll be in a probation period (no faction points until you've played 10 matches), but you'll still be considered part of the faction for rewards.

Btw, how about mercs? They won't be able to do the loyalist stuff, but will they at least earn IS or Clan points for Spoils of War-objective for the side they are contracted to? Or is that loyalist only too?

No, you become loyalist the moment contract is taken. Thanks. Yes, semi-loyalist meant mercs. Im so clever! I dont need to or have anything to gain to end my merc contract sooner. It will end midways and i can get the Clan colour later and just quit and take the clan penalty because i dont care. I already own all the IS colours. People need to be aware that if i join clan im probably jinxing it. So if you need a mechbay or new mech go IS lol.

Oh bummer, Im on my first game on FP because I didn't bother to check the forum first, and people on it said the event doesn't work yet.

There's plenty of time to hammer Luthien to ground. It's a new system so it has bugs and problems, I get that.

sooooo why does the IS get an ASSAULT mech if they win yet the clans get a LIGHT mech? im sorry but thats just plain crappy right there. i would say change that to equal rewards for example the IS gets the mauler while clans get the maulers cousin a Kodiak. or keep the clan light and give the IS players a panther. (mech choices are just examples keep your panties on.) at least keep the rewards in line. else you will find No One playing clan just to get a stupid light.

Ha IS win, good one. All jokes aside i'd rather have the light mech, that is no joke.

So in that sense I agree, but IS mechs are cheaper so maybe a medium.......

I'm sure this is intentional to get some of the powerful merc units to side with IS for this event to give them a fighting chance.

Well, nice that they are fixing it.

Still, that's one day/night less for some time zones to finish the challenge. Hopefully, they are going to extend the duration of the event to make up for that.

IS mech with standard armor, structure and engine. not worth much more than a clan light.
and as said several times: IS will only win 4 mio and no mech because they have no chance to win

First: A Koshi with 8 light MGs and 4 HSL will kick the hell out of a Mauler.
Second: The Koshi is a (C) Variant, a champion with 30% XP boost.
Third: The Koshi is an Omni.
Forth: You just used Google too see what a Koshi is.

i think that is the plan. clans won the last 3 Tukayyid battles so they want to give a super good prize for the IS and give crap to the Clans (even if you just sale the mech) to get 90% of the good player mercs will go IS. just to try to stay close to lore. just my thought. I'm not doing it I already have all the kurita stuff. if I do it, it will just be so I can get cockpit items. if I knw before hand I would jump to SJ just so I can get the decals and such.

So by that logic, IS should win this event because no Clan players will be in FP because 'No One playing clan just to get a stupid light.' Let's see how this pans out at the end of the event.
