Ever since Gman stopped updating MetaMechs, I just haven't used the Mechlab at all. I mean, how can I customize mechs without knowing what Gman says is best????

just use LRMs, theyre really good. people complain about how OP they are all th etime.

As far as I can tell the most popular game mode in MW4 was deathmatch with respawn and unlimited heat/ammo (which I despise). I remember some planetary leagues used other modes like CTF, but thats about it.
And MWLL is mostly conquest with respawn.

Exactly. The whole game is just stuck in Meta Limbo. How could Gman abandon us so?

I saw him running an Arctic Wolf with 3 ATM6s I think. I guess its safe to run that....

I actually dont know what they did,
But the Novacat is amazing at everything except taking dmg. Goes down alot faster than a Night Gyr. This from a guy who's had the pleasure of trading shots with the Novacat.

That aside, its a pretty sexy mech.

I'll be honest im super frustrated by the novacat because i want it so badly to be good(rather, me be good in it, can't blame the chassis for the shortcomings of the terrible pilot), but something about the way it drives makes me crazy.

I just looked up the mobility stats(skilled to 25%) and they just about match the Warhammer but i can't for the world of my figure out why this thing feels like drives like molasses.

they had strategic objectives that you had to attack/defend/capture. way bigger maps too.

In order to attack or capture an objective, you have to kill the defenders.

In order to defend an objective, you have to kill the attackers.

There's no way to get around that.

really because when I play siege gamemode sometimes we just ignore the defenders and kill the generators and cannon.

And then PGI brought out the Nova Cat. I wanted it for the stupid fun of being the ultimate SpudGun, the thought of flinging 90 LRMs with abandon.

dunno, I'm doing way better than I do in the Hammer, tbh.

Nevermind, out of spite I kept forcing myself to play it, now its starting to approach 3k/d. Took a couple skill unlocks for it to start grooving for me though

I think 4 out of 5 are hovering over 600 avg dmg atm, which for me is pretty darn good. The Charlie and Alpha are probably my weak links, but as soon as they let me buy extra D/C omni pods, then the Alpha will end up getting some Thanatos type build treatment.

Yeah I think I'm going to pick up the reinforcements to grab some ballistics. But I like the heat balance of this LPL/MPL build here Alpha is smaller but is super manageable.
