I just want New Exford from mw4m. Forest Colony has big issues with tree to mech proportions. The Red Woods feel like they're 6x too big. And the beach doesn't look good at all. Give us a beautiful beach or rolling farms like them other dudes said. Mw4m had a lot of good looking maps that added a very good feel to the game

Quite the opposite, it is a small map.

Partly because MWLL has doubled range values for pretty much all weapons. =P

Super excited about the possibilities with 3 dimensional play on this map.

Please, please, please release more maps we can play on. I know numerous players who think the idea of bringing back old maps as a play option would be an easy way to introduce some variation. Perhaps slightly altering and/or reskinning the old maps would be a relatively easy and therefore low cost way to add some freshness to the game?

FInally a new map!!!

Now improve the logic and user-friendly grade on game UI-environment.

And then start to make a new map each 2 months.

Literally just looks like the same recycled geometry on existing maps combined, i.e. Grim, Tormaline, Caustic, maybe HPG too. Yawn 2/10 would not bang.

Now we're getting one this month, with another confirmed and all I hear is "new maps suck, why bother"

Well..... they bother because we ask them to.

Play it a bit, then complain. Do you really have enough from a 17 second video to base any legitimate complaints on?

(The answer is no, that's not a legitimate question)

First off, THANK YOU for a new map to play on!

Second, get THIS map into the que as well, it looks awesome as well! Big maps mean more interesting places to fight.

Small maps end up with the fights happening in the same spot over and over, because it's the only place to logically fight. I love Alpine, the new Terra Therma, and Polar Highlands for the fact that you CAN fight in a bunch of different spots.

Just my 2 C-bills!

I like the general look of this map but it really bothers me that the rivers do not follow the lowland and actually appear to go up and over hills in some places.

I remember some of the MWLL maps with great fondness. I especially liked the desert map with the pyramid like structures and the logging map. Those were fun. Even some of the glitches were fun such as where you could walk into the cliff face near the southern base and just disappear. Of course most of those maps also had places where your Mech could fall through the map and fall for an eternity. But the years that I played that mod were some good times.

It is more like "We want new maps ASAP, or else!". And when we get one it is "This is just recycled garbage with too much fog!".

I am legitimately concerned, mostly from Paul's image, that this map will be very Theta-centric. The area in the video thumbnail appears to be the center of the map, and appears somewhat bowl-shaped, with structures to nascar around. Really worries me. Maps for this game shouldn't have a defined center/meeting in my opinion, gets stale too quickly.

Hmm... 3d will be interesting.
I would like a few more "nice" environments. We have a bunch of dead post-apocalyptic deserted environments (frozen city, Grim Plexus, Tourmaline Desert, etc.). Viridian Bog is always a very nice change of pace because it's a living environment with a totally different color palette. Forest Colony is pretty as well, although it's still a bit on the dim side.

Hopefully we don't have more night modes. Running a 10 minute game all in night vision or heat vision is really annoying. Too dim.
