oh my goodness, they actually are putting that monstrosity into the game.
In before everyone complains it gets torsos'd easily and is suprised.

Looks to have good hard points though.

I'm expecting PGI to somehow work in those snub nipples into the Fafnir design, because they have a policy where a weapon has to always have the same size within a weight class. Expect the generic triangular prism model for Gauss to at least slightly poke out from the giant subwoofer side torsos.

I like the way it looks but with that engine cap and the way 100 tonners move now that's a hard nope.

I don't approve of the Hero's layout. If you're going to take the time to invent a variant because the tech of the classic hero version doesn't exist yet... don't give it FF armor when every other variant that had the 14 crits available got Endo Steel. You're just forcing the players to spend cbills to convert it.

The engine cap is odd, since the non-Hero Atlas & King Crabs all come with a 300 rated engine, but get a 360 cap, even the ECM capable AS7-D-DC.

Probably because the Faffy has way higher hardpoints than the Fatlas.
