Well it should by the formula have the same engine cap as the Krab & Atlas, so a 360. I'm just confused why the nerf to it's cap.

And that MW4 nostalgia... NO CLAN TECH can be used in it... isXL - side torso loss = death.....(chuckles).. reduced to at least a LFE, reducing available component tonnage.. tis not like IS stuff is heavier and BULKIER, never mind generally not able to use at least Endo for additional savings at the same time...

And TBQH, 4-7 usable hardpoints does not "a boatload of hardpoints" make. It's not a Clan 'Mech, type and placement are way more vital. This thing will need stupid quirks (even built-in ones like agility) to compete with the ANH and CP-S which themselves will beget even more QQ.

Bro, the thing is built for Heavy Gauss. Only chumps are going to take an XL.

And I don't get the crying about quirks. The mounts (right at cockpit level) and tonnage (+10 over the Mauler or Sleipnir) are going to make it a top IS assault.

It does take pilot skill to run it, but when you figure it out...its rewarding.

The A, B you can ignore those since the A, well I haven't figured out what the heck to put on it ...so it always turns into some abomination that apparently I can never get to work.

Also picked up another ace of spaces with it...though I admit it was pretty situational, since I one shot the everyone, so i can thank my team for doing the work for me.

No they won't, because the cockpit is situated right in the middle and the lasers are on the lower rim of the HGauss bezels, which means full torso expose to fire.

This is a 100 ton Nightstar. Undergunned for its weight, easy to isolate geo, slow. No quirks guarantees instant mediocrity.

the pre-order colors look really nice too... Boy 20 bucks on this mech is awfully tempting. I figured i would at least buy 1 IS package this year for loyalty reward for my IS account.. Looks like i might not have had to wait long into the year to do so.

Ok so for sake of having a little optimism.

I REALLY hope, for the sake of people shelling out pre-order money that they King Crab/Anni quirk its armor despite the ECM, I really do...cuz the geometry guys...

Just use your eyeballs theres is no getting around the torsos...literally.
And or give it 90deg/s torso speed, that'll help it out alot...don't hold your breath there though since that brings it WAYYYYY out of line with the other 100tonners.

That'll start an outcry of buffing all 100tonners significantly(which, i'm not entirely opposed to but..you know...power creep might get too stronk)

the hero is based on hans davions personal fafnir. it legit had 90 rockets in it cause it was a salvage mech. 1 of the "thor's hammer" heavy gause rifles was damaged beyond repair.
