Doesn't look right, cant put my finger on why but something about it seems /wrong/.

There's 2B+5E, though.

I suppose its more like 2B+4E though, since 5 isnt enough to justify ERML boating and you can't put an ERLL in the head.

Nope, still ********. If they are gonna do that then at least one variant is going to need 7xE with 2x B to get a level of firepower worth considering.

And...Faffy still has to full-expose the torso.

Good thing it's arriving just a few months after the Piranha. I was almost afraid when newtech was announced that the iconic dual Heavy Gauss carrier would show up before the 12xMG critpocalypse, but I never had to worry because now the fish food is here, complete with its signature side torso bombs cannons ready for self-immolation battle!

I am. Okay with it. But she better have some nice goddamn ballistic quirks. Nightstar was a disaster. Terrible quirks, gaint mech, DOA.

Agreed. This is one of the mechs that my friend was looking forwards to, but we both agreed that the concept art seems off for the both of us. I'll reserve further judgement until I see what the in game model really looks like.

Edit: Maybe it's just me but I like the TRO original much more. I think they need to stretch out the torso to make it look more rectangular and give the legs thicker armor.

That isn't enough. That only takes me [inefficiently] to 67 alpha with 3xLL and 2x ERML. I can do faster on a Mauler or a Banshee with their more generous E hardpoints. Having only 5xE puts it head to head with the NSR-9FC. Which runs faster.

And the real kicker is that you have to go down to a 300 engine to realistically run that build. At that point, I should just bring the ANH-1X with its 73 points.

I was really hoping for a poke 'Mech to foil with the full-expose monster that is the ANH. Looks like I need to keep waiting.

2B, 8xE, high mounts, no hands or lower arms. Let's go!

In the TT art, the cockpit is flush with the end of the barrrels

In the MW4 art, the cockpit peaks out (or the barrels are shorter, whichever PoV you want)

The MWO art takes the MW4 approach further, by having even shorter barrles, making it look "weird" but giving it a much better side profile. Unless, of course, the protusion is too much ST or too much CT and not a good mix of both when shot from the side.

I do like how they kept the TT arm shields but used the MW4 gun arms, instead of the TT pea shooters.

A shorter cockpit, lengthened barrels, or a bit of both would put it close to the MW4 or even TT version, but I still like it, since it should be a lot slimmer from the side.

Yeah, the same thing happened to the 9M RL10 arm of the Thanatos Hero.

Perhaps that's why I'm not feeling the artwork. I don't have MW4 nostalgia so it's a pass for me. Maybe if MWO ever implemented cosmetic mech skins that visually switched the mechs to traditional TT appearances (but in first person nothing was changed to the cockpit) I would consider picking it up.
