Since I have had the pleasure of dropping with you gents (and Steph) I know that this kind of thing is just typical of you guys.

Guess that is why I get defensive and peeved when the usual yolo solos threadwarriors act as if it is guys like you that are in any way hurting this game.

A guy on another thread was talking about the toxicity of players in units...

Yet how many of them are taking their time to actually help someone? I mean actually helping and not crying on the forums....

I probably need a break from the brown sea.

Well more so the objective-rusher units (the ones that do that, and only that, even against PUGs) literally run to the corner of the map on Skirmish. Not to snipe, but to hide.

Anyway this thread has nothing to do with that.

I am not taking on any Gen Rushers / training in that regard. You wanna shoot something that doesn't shoot back? Find someone else.

I get defensive/peeved too when my preferred playstyle is maligned. But I understand it, it comes from ignorance. Sure emotions and postings get heated, but kinda to be expected when you have been 'invested' in this IP in some way, shape, or form for decades. Nearly all of us can get that...

Just last night we watched in horror as a guy was trying to shoot Omega from the front. We tried to get him to go to the right place and target the right thing but I think they had their voice comms off.

Smurfy links are good for illustration purposes, they are not 100% accurate since the introduction of the Skill Tree however.

Hey ASH, if this offer is still open, I'd love to get in on it!

I stay out of FP as I am never "good enough" in my mind and do not accept the idea of my being a liability. I lurk in the forums for tips/tricks etc daily. Oh, if stats are a thing, I try new stuff all the time on this/main account. on alt, avg 2.0 +kdr.
