Almost all of FW was premade for like 18 months. Many thousands of players.

So all the premade quit.... because they were losing to premades?

Also there's maybe a dozen total players in FW in the 95% percentile. If even that.

So when all the units quit saying they were upset over the lack of depth, purpose, reason to be loyalists, being ignored by PGI, Long Tom, they were actually secretly units of pugs quitting because they were... losing to premades, even though they were premades?

When the scavengers are assembled - en masse. There is not much you can do to set a stop to it. Just lean back, get some good learnings from it in the meaning of as you would not behave, and hope some hasty strike of courage will all of a sudden hit one of the mods to set a stop to the misery.

There is no fun doing faction war..

On the contrary. I have a blast every night in Faction war. I get to be part of a team and fight other teams. Which leads to amazing fights and tactics that you wouldnt believe! Most of which involve NOT nascaring around the map as fast as you can. Abandoning teammate after teammate while hearing the screams of some small pulse lazor direwolf pilot yelling that he hopes we all die of ten different forms of cancer.

If it wasn't for Faction war I would have uninstalled this game a long time ago.

-True that there is no tutorial, however there are many units, including the 'elite' ones that are welcoming of new people asking questions and dropping with them.
-You read enough to find this thread, have you seen the ones with the TS hubs? Try Comstar and the FRR hub. Sunday's are a little slow, but there are IS drops on both right now.
-There is one unit of professional jerks, and they insult everyone. Just ignore them. (And anyone else who is being a donkeys posterior)

Looking at your stats I'm going to assume you're newer, don't give up easily.
FW and MWO in general has a steeper learning curve than most games.
FW is a team environment and requires an extended skill set. (with no tutorial to cover it)
There are many units that allow anyone to drop with them, others that specialize in recruiting and training new people.
Not sure how it's structured, but Ash has been holding training.

Just want to encourage you to try again.

so when did "buying something" in a F2P game become a requirement?? unless its P2W ?? and yes this is topic about FP but its
the whole of MWO not just FP and more than 5% of player base knows it (scroll the mouse up, and there is no tutorial for scrolling the mouse up because its not that deep of a concept or complicated. VERY similar to MWO play and especially FP). FP isnt a new concept on tactics as far as games go. attack/defend think the romans figured that one out. BSG (battle star galatica MMO) has a working conquer map that actually effects the game (FP does nothing except rep reward). Fp has no bearing on anything "vote button" really .... a fricken button that does what ... votes for the next area to fight over for what?? the map is useless as well as the game mode.
EXCEPT that MWO had to put something out there, ANYTHING to be able to say "see we care enough about the player base to put out FP" wasn't it war thunder that came out with the first conquerable map that as players conquered areas for in game bonuses and end map win rewards ?? plz correct me I now I be unedge u mictaed sirz ,)

I've been playing MWO for 3 years and i still get stomped everytime.. Nothing to do with skill everything to do with pre mades versus pugs..

Check you ego at the door and the FP might get some new blood one day.

I'm not newer i just have a lower skill ceiling and play for fun, i'm not competitive and being Aussie i have issues finding units in my time zone.. Most units expect color schemes and you to be there when needed but being 15 hours out its impractical to be.

That said i'm average and follow my team but trying to win in tier 4 with 11 other new customers or so isn't easy.. Plus playing badly gimped IS mechs doesn't help as PGI keeps nerfing anything good we own..

Either way thanks its sad that for each person like you there are 6-8 [Redacted] in the community..
