This is, by definition, completely false with regards to MWO.

If every player on team A does not shoot and sits still in spawn, team B will win, regardless of any other input. Therefore, the game by definition is not pre-arranged, as nothing can make team A win in this situation.

sorry, but it was still probably a good laugh. I had to google it myself because I've never heard the full term he used outside of player vs enviroment setups, and even then generally only in board/tt game settings. it really doesn't apply to player vs player unless you can derive stats that show intentional mismatching.

Well for FP it gives you a warning message saying that the mode will put you up against organized competition when you click the mode for the first time, so you go into that knowing what you're getting into.

However for quickplay I'm not really finding my matches unbalanced, I'm in T1 and players know what they're doing. I can walk around a corner and die in seconds. I know the names of many of the players who will be against me in matches in T1, I can find them right here on this forum and their leaderboard positions are similar to mine. I also see a whole lot of mechs that aren't out for cbills, hero mechs, and painted mechs for them to be free to play players.

There's a whole lot of difference between these guys and the players of T5. I've seen quite a lot of T5 gameplay, its always players who don't really know what they're doing and builds that clearly show it or trial mechs.

Of course not, but that's life. People insult other people, especially behind perceived anonymity. I say blame the person, not the forum they happened to be fighting on. But this is all besides the point. I think EVE did an incredible job. They made an open world where you could face your enemies in head to head combat or financially overpower them. I played it for about 3 months and just couldn't stand the flow of combat, but I've always been interested in returning just for the economics aspect, plus scanning down systems and looking for a safe way past campers was always fun. I think they did an incredible job, I just wish combat was fps style, which is why I'm cautiously optimistic for Star Citizen.

This is kind of hilarious, honestly. This kid is so very T5, down to the blaming the game and its developers for his own poor performance. Also jumping into Faction Play and being surprised when the mode that outright informs you that you will be matched with skilled players and groups actually has skilled players and groups in it.

Surprise, I got to T1 playing solo only, only after I got into T1 did I start doing group matches more commonly and even now they're less than 10% of my matches. Rather than blaming some pawg boogey man I decided to take a look at mistake I'd commonly make and correct those mistakes, then it was an easy ride up to tier 1.

so why does that type of matching happen ever. with a 60,000 + active player base(that's what MWO clams) I coudnt seem to find a "on line player list" thats shows the true numbers (probably way lower with the average wait being how long to match??) shoudnt the sever be able to match same teir players?? isn't that what the teir system is for?? and if that's the case and fo rgt now MWO is saying "its broke again and they trying to fix" or is that jus how it is in this game? forever unbalanced?? or sould I just suck it up and buy that first mech for$ to be competitive in this game ?? Quick Play players do not ever see groups of enemies. You're wrong.

Hero mechs are no better, and often worse, than non-hero mechs. Get good.

So you're just putting quotes around things you said rather than things I said now? Are you arguing with yourself? Just coming up with problems that don't exist to make up for your own failures? I clearly stated that I *DO NOT* find an imbalance in my matches and that the players there can be verified as being near my own leaderboard position.

I do a lot of training for new players, I'll watch their matches and give them tips on how to improve, so I've seen quite a bit of T5 gameplay. I'm all for helping players get better, but the first step is accepting you're bad and having a will to improve.
