But I can say this much:
it doesnt need more armor.
I would say its about fine, maybe a few fine tunings here and there but mostly for weaponry (get rid of micro ghost heat pls) and the fishy is set.

Will be interesting to see after the initial new purchase fever has died down how they do in good pilot's hands.

To counter that are the lights inherant size, speed and ams.
If you forego the speed and ams, well...
you gonna die!!

Bad players in a 20 tonner are like bad players in a locust or a crit lynx. Normally only people who enjoy lights (and tend to be good in them) have been playing lights before now. There's just a lot of terribads in the pool.
Good players are doing truly stupid amounts of damage with them. You play it like a Mando, but smaller and with several times the firepower.
Not going to really say 'OP', but it's really, really strong. Especially for 20 tons.
1v1 and 4v4 matches are going to produce drastically different results than 12v12 or even 8v8. You're playing in an environment that is custom-tailored in favor of fast close-range mechs. That's going to significantly alter the outcome of any testing.

Same with locusts and commandos.
However neither Locusts nor Commandos are strong enough to warranty people boating streaks consistently in QP.
I don't know about you or anyone else, but when there is a new light, or a light-centric event, I boat streaks -- or am the light.

i'd leave it alone for months. The last thing we need is another knee-jerk reaction.
They're deadly but extremely fragile. That's good enough for me. I'd rather PGI spend their very limited time, money, effort, and other developer resources on something -- anything -- else.

That is the key, and not another knee-jerk reaction that came as a result of an instigated whinefest. <shrugs>

Your typical LOLpha can remove it in one hit
Well, if you have a decent robot, at least.
Glass Cannons, certainly seem adequate, until you come across a competent player
Thankfully, those are few and far between

Now the question is, HAS PGI FIXED THE "HEAT DISSIPATION" QUIRK SO THAT IT ACTUALLY WORKS?
