I figured it out, I Think. It's the Templar.

"Due to the delay in delivery of some weapon systems (X-Pulse), the project test has been moved"

As the primary variant runs normal Pulse lasers instead of X-Pulse.

If they did the Templar before the Sunder, I would be pissed.

I think you'd be okay with it in the end though Gas, as the Templar is solid, just tricky to make use of the free crit spaces and all that free weight...

Basically it's gonna have to focus on ballistics or big missile launchers.

Nah, it has BLR-low arms and can't mount enough of a loadout in its shoulders.

Its not the Templar though.. which was designed by Kallon Industries according to Sarna.

Only davion scrubs would side with the barbaric chimp armed mech. Sunder!!! or bust!!!
besides I'm sure a sunder with 12+ 2 Apods = 14 Mguns is more appealing than a nerfed laser boat

Why? The Sunder is basically a giant fridge. And it's WAY older than the Templar. There's nothing "new" about the Sunder. (It literally took a fan-mod to put the Sunder in MW4 because it was so forgotten.)

-----------------------------------------

Isn't the Templar a testing platform for Double Heavy Gauss? Fairly sure that was the niche in MW4.

(Also, does that mean X-pulse laser is down the line if Templar is true? Double also, is the Templar rumor confirmed? My news stopped since 10 hours ago, so I'm dying to find out. But it would make sense right? Isn't the Templar counter to Lyran's Fafnir in the Civil War? So if Fafnir is out... then by logics... Templar?)

Bit skewed there, buddy. The Sunder was in the base game for MW4 Mercs.

Omega or Ares are my first most obvious guesses (because of how high the C-Bill costs are) but I have an odd feeling it's neither of them.

Bruh, Adam Tech Industries didn't build any 'Mechs prior to the 32nd century.

And the Stone Rhino would be spectacularly gross. Who is ready for 108 point alpha strike meta?

Look again at the document and which letters were not blacked out. Defiance does not fit in that spot because the exposed letters are -nse, not -nce.

From CptCodpiece.

Number 182 Being teased repeatedly in the Master's Challenge atm - Two Ideas: Not sure if I believe it meself. But, PGI did hint that the next mech was going to be a Clan mech, however, the document says 'battlemech' and the Blood Asp is an omni. That and the manufacturer names are different.

Blood Asp or riot.
