Goddamnit. It's sm0l and it's chicken, so I have to...

Also, if the 8x MG version doesn't at least get the armor quirks from the LCT-1V, it is not really going to work.

The Mist Lynx works with 8MGs while also being slower and a much larger target complete with a payload that can be easily disarmed because its arms are huge. Why exactly wouldn't a smaller and faster MLX-G work?

1. The MLX has non-trivial durability quirks on its legs and torsos, and if you do like me and take 6x MGs with the A right arm you get +24 armor on that alone while simultaneously getting a free 7th MG through the +15% RoF quirk

2. The MLX has considerably higher laser punching power...so does the PIR for that matter; my MLX above has three Heavy Medium lasers

3. To get around the lack of laser firepower you need to lean even harder on those MGs, which you have less of relative to the PIR, and to really get the max firepower/ammo potential out of the chassis you need to be able to strip enough to get you to 8 tons of unused weight...which you can reasonably do on the LCT-1V with the durability tree nearly maxed thanks to its quirks.

In before it gets Urbanmech-levels of armor quirks.

nonono, no armor quirks plz. MG lights are ok when they soft. Unkillable IS lights with MG are not ok.

Knowing our Balancing Overlord™, I am genuinely expecting the Flea to have quirks similar to the Piranha's.

Doesn't that mean you'll be out of ammo in 8 seconds, rather than 12 seconds. Posted Image

All mechs with arms are supposed to be able to raise their arms to shoot. This image just shows a mech with raised arms. Why not in MWO? PGI

IS finally gets a light that can hold more than 4B lol. Otherwise you pretty much just got the Arrow BJ, Jager DD, Mauler MX90, or Annihilator/King Crab troll builds.

yea but this one is capable of doing same at velocity (all those mechs are slow).

20 tonner with IS tech. Decent will be a stretch.

Only massive quirks will keep a Flea pilot from getting absolutely ganked by a Piranha.

Yawn. Locust MG spam. how droll.

You know, just maybe, they could add something other than mechs. An out there concept but it could include those things you play on, maps.

Or how about finishing rolling out the new tech to old mechs. Seriously it doesnt take much effort to cut and paste new weapons over the old, its practically taking the piss to take so long to add a few new weapons to all mechs, are we at one year yet? how many mechs have the new models after a year? Like it would take a few people a week to do that, not over a year

At least its not clan.. Glass half full?

That said what is with the latest mechpacks with no tonnage lately like they are trying to limit boating or something with useless mechs, doesn't PGI realise that just means the customers wont use them anymore after the release event.

My Blanners have not left the mechbays since the event finished... neither have my laser piranhas or my Hellspawn, Uziels Osiris ..

Fixing broken mechs that people have already paid money for would be really nice too.

I'm looking at you, Nightstar.
