No you should only provide lrm locks and anti light support as potatoes are a protected species and cannot be poached by anything under 50 tons ans it's not honabru and goes against clan lore.

I offered to train the guy, 3 times now...

Hell I help a few guys with builds via PM and discord etc. One of them had his avg match score jump by 50 over 100 games or so simply from changing the build slightly and a better skill maze all with me coaching him via PM on what to look for/do with it. Not even in the damn game training which is miles better again...

I could turn anyone from a super bad into at least a bad by just following some basic concepts.
Alas some people just like to complain about everything and anything without any justifiable reason.

Perhaps but thats part of the Cheetah's problem. It may be the strongest generalist Light, but it falls flat when compared to the Niche Litghs.

True outside of solo quick play.

If you have a team to cooperate with in GQ, you can pick a specialist. If you know what map it is in FP, you can pick a specialist.

If in solo quick play to do well you need potato assaults (Piranha), lots of building cover and a cold map (Wolfhound/Locust 1E), not a lot of build cover (Pirates bane), etc, etc... then you might not get those things and do really poorly.

Not always. For example, Ebon Dragoon(the hero MLX) can do pretty well with SRM4s and Heavy Smalls. You can even replicate the build without spending real money.

Even if i needed "training" i wouldn't take it off of you.. I'd rather as you so eloquently put it be super bad... Which i'm not, i play this to enjoy it not to be competitive or berating everyone else who disagrees with my fangirling..

You can keep your "training" and maybe learn to get some humility training instead.

I don't mind the PIR - yes it's super dangerous, also one of my favorite targets when rolling LB20. Very satisfying to punch out a CT with 1 alpha. TBH, Commandos get the better of me more often than PIRs!

You think things are exploits, hacks, overpowered... You are clearly not enjoying things if you continually complain about them. Especially when, in reality, they do not exist.

It is literally in your head dude. You only think these things because you clearly lack a lot of understanding of core mechanics and basic tactics/counters in the game. Very simple stuff that will improve your gameplay.

One does not have to be competitively minded to simple take onboard some feedback to further improve their enjoyment... But that would mean taking off the fake news/tin foil hat

Mini Cooper weights ~1,2 tons and Abrams weights 54-65 tons (newer model = heavier)
vs
Light mechs 20-35tons and your assaults 80-100t

1) scout enemy locations
2) harrass enemy mechs
3) protect your slow assaults
4) not kill anything
5) sacrifice yourself for lurm locks
6) all at the same time
7) while piloting a class that has the lowest average scores out of all four mech weight classes by far
8) but is apparently op af
9) and deserves nerf hammers
