Well, the truth is right now, I have 3-4 sponsors in several divisions, the rewards are VERY piddly. We are talking 1-2% boost per sponsor for each type of reward. So div 2 for example, look in the lower right to see the rewards available:

The only people with higher elo in most divisions than myself have glitched SSR. I make 1-2 SSR per match and lose 20-30 on a loss. The ceiling really wont be much beyond 2200 - 2250 for me in most divisions.

6 sponsors in Div 1 rn, probably make a few more c-bills than a non sponsored pilot. So having sponsors doesn't really matter, all about the epeen maybe when you can get all 10 sponsors at once in a division.

If sponsors are so whimsical as to run off if you lose a few matches in a row i see no reason why they cannot be there from the start or give the TRY HARD player one heck of a huge bonus .

Right now they are next to pointless.

This is my bonuses with 6 sponsors. I am rank 1 in div 2. I don't think 12% is that big of a bonus that you are missing out on alot.

Well 12% is nearly halfway to a CB Bonus mech no matter the mech you use. Adding to it that you can do 3 games of 1v1 in the time you play QP (according to PGI, didn't test it because I take brakes between matches) its like you have 36% Bonus CB on every mech you own. (in the same time of doing QP)

To me playing a CB Bonus mech for a day or two is quite a differance in income. So while the 12% don't seam much on their own in the long run it is a good boost.
Now play a CB Mech and add Premium and that cockpit item and you should get quite a good income per match...and yes the number isn't, on its own, as high as QP but then you can make more matches in S7 in the same time you do QP.

Remember I make less than most because I have to sit while I get no same elo matches so for almost every wait timer add an extra minute. 14 in queue I will get skipped over 95+% of the time for example.

Which in reality, aint anywhere near the compensation.

Thats why I said "to PGIs calcutation" of getting 3xS7 for one QP. I also don't get as mutch because I don't imidiatly hit "ready" because I fiddle with my build or do something else and then the beeing skipped because there is a fault in the "how many people in Q". Showed me that there where at least 2 people and I didn't get a match. When I stopped searching the counter went to zero.

Of course they are. Sponsors are a reward for the winners!!! What did you expect? Walk into an arena unprepared or outgunned and expect to win!?!?!?!

I'm adapting my builds and tactics and climbing the ranks nicely.

Maybe PVP isn't for you if you don't like it. This is what I've been waiting for since Garth told us we'd have it soon in Summer of 2012.

I think the sponsors need big Elo jumps because some of my highest ranked divisions do not have sponsors.

Yeah seems like they need to change something if a lot of us aren't getting sponsors.

also , DC are bad news if you have high elo and the enemy is cheap by not waiting.

It seems like they should have some sponsors that are easier for not top tier players to get. Like for players who have at least 15 wins a day or get 10 wins in a row.

And they should tell us how we are supposed to unlock these.
