Tried DIV 4 with my Black Knight and the Black Knight just seems like it is made out of paper and hits like an infant (even though it packs plenty of firepower). I still think that DIV 6 is balanced much better and most of my games are either wins or very narrow losses.

I got 45 mechs (also lots of mediums and lights) and only one (with no skills) yet is in division 6.

I tried DIV 4 again and it is just about who can pack the most SRMS and leg each other first. I know, legging is a viable strategy, but it is also requires the least amount of skill. Solaris would be much better if your rewards were adjusted based on how you play, not just on whether you win or lose. Also Duncan should adjust what he says based on the skill level difference of each warrior and the way that the warrior wins or loses. It is funny that Duncan calls a match between someone with a 1.5 w/l ratio and a .04 W/L ratio as a "close matchup".

I am doing much better in DIV 4 since I switched to my Highlander IIC, I have only lost one game with it so far, just the right Mech to play while having a few beers!

Seems that timer change pretty much killed all divisions.

I have managed to get matches since the last patch in both DIV 4 and 6, but it really sucks that you have to wait out the whole 2.5 minutes even if there are enough players in the queue to start a match.

Timer 2min 56s and one guy in queue...besides myself. Really frustrating to wait, dude can bail out anytime as he bores to waiting.

Yeah, at some times of the day it is dead. I can usually find games after 8PM PST though.

PGI has done it again. First they use resources to make something, then they kill it by idiotic changes.
There seem not to be any limits how retarted this company can be.

I am increasingly getting bored with the game, I can not get matches in Solaris often enough to climb the ranks or get any decent rewards, and I no longer have any interest in QP or FW. Also, whenever I do get a match, 4 out of 5 matches are usually against players who are either significantly higher or significantly lower ELO than myself, so either of those situations are not much fun (hard to believe accuracy, or a target dummy).

Luckily all my friends and I have gotten into Conan Exiles and it is taking up most of our gaming time. I still play BATTLETECH as well just to get my Mech fix, even though I have already completed the campaign. Who knows, maybe MW5 will breath some life into MW again, at least I have gotten a good taste of how well a Unreal 4 game can run with Conan.

Solaris is already a dead feature.
JUst after realeae you were waiting 1 minute for a match, now it is 3.
Waiting 3 minutes for a match that takes a minute? lol
What is the point, much better to do quickplay and get rewarded just as much if not better.
And don't start on random potatoes in qp, if you perform well, even if it is a loss, you will get rewarded properly.

I had some 260 games in Div 2, maybe 50-60 in div 6 and 7 but haven't been there for ages, since the matchmaking sucks.

I have just been testing builds...I lose 50-150 Elo immediately because the config takes some matches to make competitive.

Then, I climb back to my original Elo. It is a pretty horrible system, as I play pretty consistently but Elo is crap.

Anyhow, I am testing mechs in div 6 now

I jumped on for a few games right now and managed to get about 4 in between DIV 4 and 6. I had two wins and one loss in DIV 6, got legged, and in DIV4 I found out that my Highlander IIC can get hit in the front CT from almost any direction and I loss two out of three matches partly because of this and partly because the maps I ended up in favor the long-range AC meta (which dominates tiers 4 and above).

PGI killed it by doing not enough changes, fast enough. Also, Battletech was released at the same time.

I vote out the longrange maps if I have a brawler. Rarely have a problem that way. Get Steiner and Davion out of the way and all the other maps are mostly close quarter. Liao can be a bit longranged but it offers enough places to hid and get close.

Yeah, whatever. Thing is that if you need to wait 6min aka 2 timer cycles to get one match, you lose a shitton of CBs compared to normal QP. 6min is close to average time of QP match where you can get 350k easily.

To get that amount of CBs in S7, you should have match after match after match all of time no matter win or lose. Instead PGI presented time wasting waiting game where you half dead from boredom if you accidentally are lucky enough to get a match.
So no wonder PPL don't give a **** about S7 anymore.
