more in traditional Btech 6mm scale for you to drool over

just a few more of my designs. I think I forgot to post the Axman... but I'm not a fan of it TBH, so meh.

My brother has been hand crafting our custom mechs on Blender, but I am curious as to what method you've been using. Those models are great and have good details. Just wondering if there may be a better way than blender and hand creating them.

Also, Shapeways is expensive... Though we are looking into getting our own 3D printer...

I do the concept art and orthos, no clue what set up the 3D modeler uses. Anyhow once modeled and printed, then they are cleaned up, tweaked as needed and used to make moulds. So the end result is pressure cast resin models, which I find to be way better than any 3D printed products, IMO. I'm definitely happy with Strato's overall product line quality, hence why I do a lot of designs for them.

On verge of spamming (advertising) the thread, links? I like drooling... and maybe more affordable ways to get a 10 inch Stormcaster... Posted Image

from the USA anyhow, likely the best source,
https://steelwarriorstudios.com/
though being a "garage run" business, Alex is not always the fastest... in part because stock is made in Poland, so you got all the fun shipping.
the home studio is this (which may be faster and has a bit more product, also some designs from Shinypants, like the Dutchman and Phobos, along with some of the stuff Girorgio Espinos had posted back int eh day like his killer versions of the Flashman and Hussar)

I know you said 1/60 scale... but I can't visualize that. How big are those things? Inches. CM. MM. Photo with some common object beside it. I'm not picky...

Makes me want to get a printing of a mech large...

PS: Amazing hanger bay background.

Heres another shot for you. Keep in mind the Atlas is about 11 1/2 inches tall.

What photos in this thread are entries and which aren't? Seems like there are TRO pics and other stuff mixed in.

Typically, if it's an entry, it will have the category it's entered into at the top of the post. If it doesn't, then it's not part of the event.

update. goodness I hate legs. Everything about them.

Oh and this is going to be for part A - pre 3025, in case anyone wants to get all technical on me.

robot legs. human legs. leg day always sucks. Legs suck.
(I seriously mean no offense to any amputees or what not, i'm joking. I appreciate my legs very much)

So what? Is Bishop going to be the only submission for Category B? Posted Image

So far, it's looking like that may be the case... I guess I could technically change my Category... Posted Image

Well, it's the Great Wyrm so it kinda has to go in the 3025 category ya know?

Great isn't a pet mech for me or anything, I just think it's looks cool and would have a nice offering at it's weight for the hardpoints it has. Limited variants tho.

Naw. I am just finding it funny that Bishop went into Category B, and so far no one else has. Not saying people have to go into that category at all.

well if I did go category A, I'd go gentle on y'all....

but I already committed to B, so it is what it is. jjm1 is gonna slaughter me like a pig at a bbq, so I think that is the real reason no one else has gone B. We all know he will go B. And we all know he WILL win, lol.

That's what I and I'm sure everyone else loves about your work. It's the soul of the action contained. That and your perspective work is spot on and likely the product of thousands of sketches similarly done and trial/error.
