Quite a few of the ones I was thinking of who've never managed a kdr equal or above 1, also have avg match score below 200 as a whole over 18 to 24 months of play, even when they're dropping mostly assaults. One particular who does primarily assaults each month (only in 5 out of 24 months were heavies used more) and he's never finished a month with a higher avg match score than 197. One month it was 100% assaults and he got 177 as the average. I mean I'm not more than average, but for the past 14 consecutive months i've been over 200 match score average each month. And yet I'm left to carry players who over the same time frame simply are NOT getting better. The above assault jockey was a T2 when I first started encountering him regularly enough to notice how bad he was, and now he's dropped to a T3... yet I'm still being sorted into matches with him (as recently as a couple days ago) and I've been T1 for about six months now on this account.

If I might make a wee gripe , are there no sucky clan mechs for division 6 and 7 in the table top lore ? I have no intention of spending a few million cbills on an IS mech just for division 6 . Psst that Osiris trial mech needs serious work heck I now have so much more respect and appreciation for my Uziel champ mech . XD

And how did black lanner not end up in division 6 or 7 ?

I will say persistance is the name of the game. Eventually after about an hour you should be able to get half of the rewards. The trial mechs are doable as well.

Try to make some points in Div 6 and 7 when you only own Clanmechs. The IS-Trials are sh*t, that crap Rocket-Launcher Osiris in Div 6? That sh*tty Uziel in Div 7?
I never complained about any other event-goal i wasn't able to reach because i had neither the time nor the skill to reach it.
But this "get 1 win in each div" is impossible for a pure-Clan account owner.

Try that trial-mech against someone with an Elo 800 points higher in a META mech.

Okay so against my better judgement and against the general consensus found in the posts on this topic........
I gave Solaris a try, and decided it would be worthwhile to do all the 1v1 event stuffs.
a. Solaris seems glitchy, had 1 unknown mech completely invisible to me, my radar and seismic (& I took screenies).
b. Solaris appears to lag greatly from time to time, I just was in a match with my piranha vs atlas and atlas was shooting after I moved, my ping 53, their ping 248+. Other matches I'd tab and see that I had 53-62 ping, but could not hit enemys so IMO I believe its a Solaris-server side issue.
c. Solaris interface is more kludgy, awkward and (imo) totally non-intuitive then most alpha/pre-beta games...
d. Long wait times often I'll queue up and it'll go from 1 to 2 in queue and it'll count down to 0, I still see 2 or more in queue yet nothing happens except the count starts all over again.........
e. Long wait times... hey here's an idea if the mechs are close to whatever magical ranking/weight measurement system PGI uses then start the match ffs.

PGI don't bother wasting time with another Solaris event, at least not for me!
Yeah I did the 1v1 event but.................. Solaris is dead to me and I've no interest in ever participating in it again.

Invisible to your visual? Radar and seismic could be explained by stealth armor.

Agreed. A Solaris-wide chat and ability to queue in multiple divisions at once would help.

Correct

And yes "Invisible to me visually". Could only see where the shots originated from.
Haven't seen that in MWO before... nor in any game for years & would've been a few PCs ago. But I restarted mwo just in case it was some graphical glitch.


NOTE: And FYI this PC/GPU doesn't have a problem running old MWO.
Afterall it can run RSI's SC since v3.0 just fine on highest settings.
