@Bonfor: Sandblasting did not work. After Zephrym's advice I opted for precision laser surgery instead and it has been working significantly better.

@D V Devnull: Day 7 completed, took less than 25 minutes including the time spent waiting. With a little bit more luck might have done it in one game, the second one would have been enough by itself (305 damage). This opposed to the about 15 hours for day 6... Uhhuh. I just want to forget yesterday.

@All: 39 minutes to complete day 8, results: 4 assists while scoring ZERO damage , 10 assists and 1 assist in a lost game where only one hostile died, own losses zero Mechs. :D:D

I think I i will start claiming the reward in game instead of on the website. On the website it stops at the number designated but in game it keeps adding up. It would appear it is calculating everything based on your final number at the time of the claim. The question though, are you actually receiving that amount or is it a display error?

This occurs if you leave an active game, quickly visit the website and redeem your reward. What you see is the base event reward plus the cbill and gxp reward for the previously active game.
