What's Wrong With Faction Play?

1. We faceroll IS Pugs in a 12 man Premade
2. We get Basestompt by a 12 man Premade
3. We get completely stompt by a 12 man Premade with equal skill
4.(very rarely) We have a relatively balanced Match with a 12 man Premade
Sometimes you don't get a good match in days.
So what are you're thoughts on this, and what do you think needs to change to "make FP great again" .

And the turning off of IS vs IS or Clan vs Clan.
Is one of the top reasons why faction is a ghost town.

A Thread over balancing IS vs. Clan is useless. Both sides have their advantages and disadvantages.
Thats not the main problem of FP.
PGI want to shut it sown, thats the problem.
After analyzing all the factors regarding FP it is the only conclusion i can take.
They let it open for the 50 (?) players/veterans still playing this mode plus some pugs visiting us there.
They wont shut it down to avoid a shitstorm, so they just let it be how it is in hope its going dead on its own some day.
That explains the Events only focussing QP and now Solaris. They want with all force to get their new baby Solaris to run, because it is for them the best solution to change MWO into 1 v 1 and 2 v 2 for quick fun and regarding the decreasing player base. Its easier in Solaris to put max 4 players together than MM is trying to put 24 equal players together in QP.
Its the sign of decline to change the Online experience focusing on smaller groups. FP was the big try to become a unique mechanic of tactical warfare, but it failed and they want to forget this attempt.
The recent Lurm Buff just acceraltes this progress of decline and you OP and your guys are fulfilling it on yourselfes by only using Lurms & ATMs.
My Clan account has only 6 Clan mechs now, only the Supernova has Lurms as backup weapon. All the other ones are direct fire (Laser & Dakka). Altough unskilled mechs, i do regularly 1500-2000 damage with them, no matter if good enemy or pugs are facing me.
