want more input on the sorry state of FP? todays match the clans showed up first we 12 piranha. Of course then the killed our first round of assaults. Then they camped our spawn and killed us as we dropped. How is that supposed to be fun? I understand the desire to win and use your best resources to do it. But when you are that far ahead you just defeat the fun for the other team. Why should I keep playing?

Switch to clan. Do the same. win.

Be an *******? No thanks. I was prepared to lose, spawn camping is BS. Wasn’t necessary, and only serves to make the game no fun for the losing team. If you want opponents, stop being {Richard Cameron}.

I guess, it was a 12 men premade against 12 pugs. You really should just switch to Clans if you face such. Cause they will be around for the whole evening. And for me it looks ok to drop from such games.

P.S: at the positive side: you don't have to wait long for the drop while playing IS this day.

Stuff like this was why myself and my friends stayed IS, formed tactics to counter it and defeat meta cheese rubbish. It was what made FP great overcoming cheesemongers and getting a win out of something that normally rolls your face. It might not work the first few times but eventually you get there and the victory feels great. The sad thing is that there aren't enough predictable enemy groups to make it worth your while these days because the response when you get beaten is "swap sides, move away from the hard fights".

Get on the TS hubs and find a 12 man and ask them what mechs / tactics to use etc.

Perfect counterproof that reducing drop deck tonnage will not affect teams much.

12 Assaults couldn't kill enough Lights to prevent them spawn amping the next wave? No offence but I would presume there was a hefty skill imbalance, NOT a 'tech imbalance. Since there is no skill related match making in FP yet, there is nothing that can be done to help.

This is also not the thread to discuss it or the current event.

I'm interested to know if there is any further updates from the information in the podcast.

That's often the case, PUG. Team X is a premade of 12 players, doing 'A' strategy. Team Y is 12 pug players who can't fight their way out of a wet paper bag. Obviously Team X wins. Also obviously, strategy 'A' is overpowered, since skill / teamwork cannot possibly be why Team Y lost.

Yeeeep, exactly. It's not like they had an Atlas cause a roadblock that halted their entire column and gave the enemy an opportunity to shower them with arty strikes, or that they brought LRMs to Siege Attack on Grim Portico...

I was wondering if it would be possible to make a Intro video to FW kind of like a ride along for each mode put in the Academy? o.O

This is an excellent idea and something a certain Twitch streamer could probably do, eh Ash?

Are the Siege maps even in the Training Grounds or Private Lobbies yet?

I'm really not the best person - my video editing is non-existent.

Siege are not in the Priv Lobbies unfortunately. Testing Grounds they are.

Not needed for streaming. What's on Twitch are either recorded streams or stream fragments - check Baradul's twitch channel: https://www.twitch.t...adul/videos/all

As you can see, the unedited gameplay is being streamed. The hard part is keeping both the commentary and the gameplay running without losing track of one or the other.

Streaming MWO is not an issue... Except as im not a partner my videos disappear after a couple weeks or something (that is an issue).

A intro video, IMO, is a different kettle of fish to just streaming games.

Hum Does make you wish there could be a ride along feature in MWO kinda like how we have now when You die and can see what the other player is doing except this would be for new players to watch from the beginning till the end by riding along. o.O
