So I waited for mechcon and well .....nothing.

We get a little in december, but that prolly be just a cap limit increase on conquest mode. April prolly be match maker, if they have done anything at all with it the last few months.

Seems to me they have just put MWO to the side and put everything into MW5.

48 pages later, yet another of the dozens of "SAVE FP / SAVE CW / WHY ARENT THEY LISTENING TO US ?" threads we've seen over time crashes into the bottom of the mountain of hope yet again... This time, with another mech-con come and gone, still no relief on the FP front of any kind and little more than a vague reference to it even being addressed "soon" in all the clamor of MW5 announcements.... which for those they haven't run off yet... Doesn't it make you wonder if El maestro isn't dead on ?? i.e..How many times do you have to be peed on to realize its not raining ? Even if Paul did make a rare personal appearance in his own forum asking about it.. we've been down this road before repeatedly with the string-along setup roundtables and town halls.. keep you just interested enough to still buy mechs without actually fixing it..

The future is bright... IF you're among those waiting for MW5... but they apparently don't want to tell you FP dev really died off for good quite some time ago after they threw their hands up in surrender and dumped everyone in a bucket...and now as time drags on, they're clearly not willing, motivated, or for that matter capable of actually reviving it beyond the life support its been on anymore... especially as long as people are still buying mechs and MC to fund MW5 dev. Play in the bucket or don't..we may or may not slap a bumper sticker or bolton on the bucket to make it look fresh occasionally, or Go back to QP or try their deserted Solaris arena that sucked up all the dev FP could have had for the last year or so... imagine it makes little difference to them if mech/mc sales are still coming in. But whatever brains they have in this operation are somewhat obviously working on MW5 first and primarily, new mechs to keep selling in MWO to fund MW5, a strong second... and MWO Faction Play a distant last at the bottom they hope falls off the page, behind other "features" we didn't ask for, bugfixes that take them forever to catch up on and the endless balance chase they should have got off of years ago and just locked in the values and been done with it....

So,with all that, If MW5 wont even arrive before late next fall earliest according to Russ, (2020 most likely i'd bet), The question you've gotta ask yourself is when do you think they might find the time, resources, or more importantly the motivation to attempt overhauling a planetary conquest system they could never make work right in the first place and only made worse every time they tried to "fix it" with band-aid patches and things like the long tom and the bucket ?

That BS about forgetting to bring his list of updates is rubbish. The total lack of FW content/updates just means it ain't happening full stop end of story. I think that's final nail in the coffin for FW.

In regards to the suggestions and potential answers, wasn't there a moment where Paul said that we will start to see some improvements start trickling in starting in the December patch (without specifying what improvements) or did wishful thinking make that up for me?

I know doom and gloom is the overriding emotion in here and there is a ton of frustration about PGI's lack of info regarding FP, but I want to deal with facts and not butt hurt.
