I wish PGI would ask the ~5 out of 6 players who recently joined FP for the sake of completing the FP events, and who will probably be leaving FP the moment those FP events are over, why they refuse to keep playing FP outside FP events.

And I doubt the answer would be : Because missiles needed a nerf.

do you mean stock mode?
You do know the world championship is stock mechs only and there's a meta to which mechs you pick and don't, right?

I found no real difficulty in playing with my balanced lrm mechs tonite. But SSRMs are pretty worthless now IMHO. Another piece of equipment to drop to make room for something else and asking for a refund on the Arctic Wolf package I just bought.

May be, the best way to modify the artemis system: quit their bonuses (or part of them) and give them a bigger lock zone, that will be a real and visible asset to artemis system as unique feature of this system.

Shots on the rear of mechs seem to be having trouble registering for me sometimes. I put 4 LBX20 into the rear of a jagermech that was DC and it did nothing. Only lasers worked. The second time was against a stationary LRM orion for absolutely zero damage into his back right torso.

Buy better Targeting Computers and bring your own TAG? Does this help in LRM and Streak Warfare?

TAG - yes. TCs - no, they do nothing for missiles.

Considering the technical superiority the Clans had over the Inner Sphere (in lore) this is slightly ironic to see that IS is actually better... Yeah.. who needs lore or background anyway?

Clan Streaks: More range but slower
IS Streaks: not so much range but faster

I would really love to see an NO LRMS Quickplay EVENT. Gives 1000 MC for everybody, who can make 1000 dmg. and 4 kills in one drop.

And everybody who nascars is hit by a long tom.

Of course youre right. I would even say that its not only a viable style, its the only style in qp. (at least toooo often)

If they nascar not right, i am always SHOCKED, of such tactical variety.

The part that TCs don't help for missile weapons comes directly from the original tabletop game.
What PGI didn't implement is that the weight and size of a mechs TC is bound to the combined weight of its energy and ballistic weapons (without MGs) at a ratio of 5:1 (Clan) or 4:1 (IS). The benefit is always the same, regardless of the weight of the TC.
But I think the way PGI translated the TC to MWO is ok.

So...i left out of frustration,,came back weeks later on patch day to see what the devs are up to..and got the urge to leave again without even bothering..gj
LRM lock area tighter...ye no...terrible idea
Artemis...gutted to uselessness
ATMs that have Artemis integrated from scratch,,and DEPEND on rapid lock on and launch,also rip
ECM range buff,yes yet meh
NARC cooldown,eh why not
Coolshot nerf,uhhh kay..can we rename it to cool driplet?
