It's only 5 days, actually. But yes, if Scouting is not allowed, then it will shut too many people out of the Event. That could DEFINITELY forever perma-kill MWO for sure. Real Life has the ability to naturally trump MWO any day, and it will ruin an Event for most people if it can.

I wonder if they forced skirmish so that while DCMS and CSJ have different win conditions, you can't easily get both.

In most other game types you could have clams dunk objectives, ignoring mechs and going for the quick win while the other side kills a few mechs and loses with a higher kill count....

Ok I don't want to sound like a moron but, since I've only played for three months and never done a "loot bag" event, how do you actually attain them? Just play in 50 faction skirmish matches? Or do you have to get certain things like the other ones, ie, "destroy 10 components" or "get 150 match score in one match" sort of thing, since that's what was going on in the other ones. I just want to make sure I don't miss them just by being too new to figure it out. Anyone with the info can feel free to help me out.

over a certain match score, redeem on website. less words than dv and more helpful.

Assuming you can get a 50 match score bag and a 100 match score bag from 1 drop, it will take 7 games each day during the 7 day event(with 1 game left over) to complete the challenge. Generally I see Skirmish games go to time, with the occasional game lasting up to 25 minutes. With that we are expected to invest 3.5 hours per day.
