Yet talks about a single weapon system which, generally, is one's own inabilty to counter it. In light of the recent ECM buffs as well.

LRMs are a problem, but not really for why you are saying. Issue is dual buffs they took earlier in the year. This has been discussed many times now as well.


LRMs are a problem in the same way HGauss or 4xCAC10 when defending Vitric is a problem.

There's this super narrow set of circumstances where they're strong. Otherwise, not nearly so much.

I've started taking a LRM boat as my first Mech on Caustic, Polar and Alpine.

Even when we have no NARCers, that Mech will earn me 1200-1400 damage before I run out of ammo... mostly using remote locks and barely ever needing to use my TAG.

So, despite the general craziness of the original post, I do think LRMs are too strong now in the context of overall balance. Especially for a weapon that requires close to zero skill to use.

Oh, and it's boring, too.

I run a lurm boat first wave if I get those maps when it's time for food. LRMs are the only weapon that lets me be just as effective while having lunch

I'm going to take a moment to point out that I've come back to this game super rusty, I mostly been playing black out drunk, and consequently, I've been getting slaughtered like a chicken at a Tyson plant, yet somehow, I don't have AMS on any of my mechs, and not one single time has someone killed me with a LRM.

PGI please we need a AI for all the stupid Potatoes in the game tahts sniping with small alsers about 1300m or doing nothing as Looky Looky ...what ? my Mech has weapons ????and the ..im only seeing only what direct in my Cursor Players...Stupidity can not balanced

Honestly clan and IS are the most balanced it's been in a while, not because of tech, but because of skill, and the ability to abuse it.

Because can't aim, mouse sensitivity too high to hold shot on target, can't torso twist well enough to not die in two shots from a decent pilot....so...

Bring a mech that sits behind a hillside and shoots missiles or shoots down missiles so we feel like we are helping?
