Please god... give me strength.

PGI... The number one issue with the Firestarter and Atlas is their laughable TORSO PITCH ANGLE VALUES.

While increasing mobility on the firestarter is always welcome... please help me understand what effect are you looking for from 5% stat changes?
Please increase your step size percentage with regards to mobility changes in case of the Firestarter (like you did with the atlas)

Also, please first fix any issue (e.g. model, animation, personal hate, etc.) that prevents you from increasing torso pitch angle value on both the Firestarter and Atlas

The Firestarter has jumpjets. Out of every mobility stats, torso pitch is the key factor that allows a JJ capable mech to USE that vertical mobility advantage.

Atlas is generally a Brawler. You know how useless it becomes the moment an enemy walks on top of a mini hill right in front of it? Add torso pitch angle value please.

It pains me that people have to point these basic concepts.

Thanks Tina!

One question for yall, it looks like there is an error on the Atlas Buffs.
The Atlas K Mobility

Current New

Acceleration 8.5 ===> 10.79
Deceleration 11.75 ==>12.5

The K already has 10.79 accel w/ 12.5 decel. Are the other Atlai being brought into line with the K or is the K getting a bonus ontop of its current numbers?

Not just a brawler, but one that relies on low torso mounts. It really needs that pitch.

The Firestarter is useless until torso pitch is fixed. I think I sold mine.

Switching assault lance starting positions on Mining Collective is great!

i don't understand why the firestarter still has worse agility than the wolfhound. it should be at least as good if not slightly better given the lack of armor quirks.

Cause the Firestarter could be a dangerous light and they don't want that.

I really don't understand why mobility changes for Stormcrow have top priority, while IS mediums like Centurion, Shadowhawk and Griffin don't. SCR is still a top performer. IS mediums beside Bushwalker are not.

those agility buffs to the lights and mediums are... absolutely pitiful. Those numbers are way too small to make any meaningful difference. might as well not have bothered even touching the firestarter and hellspawn. yeesh.

Are you guys aware you can put 4 mpl in Firestarter's arms and one in CT? It really doesn't need the pitch boost, it could use some armor and structure quirks because of it's size.

Because before the rescale absolutely destroyed it it was debatably the best light in the game and as such it was given the shaft on quirks. On some level I think attitude stuck and there's a bizarre fear of over buffing to that point again even though it's the size of a bus now.

Especially the Ember which I recall it's totally brutal loadout of 4 medium lasers and 4 machine guns on a light having people argue over wether or not it was pay to win.

And so goes to waste the only reason you would consider bringing a Firestarter in the first place: it has lots of guns. It is precisely because the FS9 has so many hardpoints that it is deprived of mobility and durability.

You are infinitely better off taking a Commando TDK for 4x MPL, and a WLF-2 for 5x.

Also, not every Firestarter has 5x E anyway; the Ember and Firestorm only have 4x, and you are boned out of half your firepower if a 20-tonner decides to molest you.

Buffing VIPER and CROW mobility instead of the horde of crippled mechs (that you spent money making and then wasted), and zero weapon balancing or heat changes?

I don't think you guys quite understand that you don't have many monthly patches left before the point of nobody cares because nobody's here.

1% "buffs" are an insult to game design and your paying customers. I'm sure you've spent titanic manhours testing all the grand ramifications of that nugget.

And you need MONTHS to test slightly faster limping? How long does it take you to get a match I wonder.

I mean, wake up already. How could actual change, ANY change, be worse than this pretend development? You're not fooling your bottom line with it, that's for sure.

so, Clan AC20s get buffs because 'they lack velocity compared to lighter ACs' but IS AC20s which are far larger and heavier, dont need velocity buffs?

EDITED: Oh by the way since the re-scale the resistance Grasshoppers unique geo has been funky. on the legs in particular the metal bars were not rescaled with the rest of the mech, meaning that they kinda of stick out of the legs

Today I Learned that "moderate" means 4%

Why did you even bother?

PGI please change back to mobility quirks. The current system is just a mess. In the past, at least at first glance, you could see which mech was more agile.

Would it really matter? Take a isXL and die when a ST is lost or a LFE and run a lot slower. :(
