nice patch PGI. But where is the next big thing? Like a new map or introducing new Weapon Systems (like HAG)?

by the way: the UAC 20 is still not worth playing. You spend a lot of tonnage to a weapon that needs to be in brawl. You push the button and in worst case it jams instantly. I dont understand why there are different jam chances compared to all sizes. Give this weapon a chance and build a mechanism by pressing a key where you dont jam and could fire the gun in single shot mode like it is in Tabletop. Then you can delete this useless, bulky and huge Clan AC20. No one need this gun and it doesnt exist in TT. And it has some major drawbacks in form of using too much space.

so, Clan AC20s get buffs because 'they lack velocity compared to lighter ACs' but IS AC20s which are far larger and heavier, dont need velocity buffs?

EDITED: Oh by the way since the re-scale the resistance Grasshoppers unique geo has been funky. on the legs in particular the metal bars were not rescaled with the rest of the mech, meaning that they kinda of stick out of the legs

IS uac20 has less of a jam chance than clan before and after skill tree....

And again the downtime announcement in game doesn't use my time, but says "7PM local time". Or will the downtime start in about 17 hours from now?

The ingame announcer always uses the local time, so this is very convenient.
Ja, die Server sind down zwischen 19:00 und 20:00 für dich. Waren sie übrigens auch schon das ganze Jahr mindestens. ;)

  • Atlas (All Variants)
- Moderate increases to Acceleration, Deceleration, and Arm Speed attributes.
- Heavy increases to Turn Rate and Torso Turn rate.

Finally....About bloody time. The poor atlas has been languishing as a bullet magnet for too long now since the mobility nerf. took mine out last night just so i could remind myself how easy a 100t mech drops because it can get out manoeuvred by a Maus tank (of German WW2 vintage).

Not impressed with the patch. Bushwacker still is overquirked and most problems at the moment aren't addressed either. No needed down tuning of the PIR as well

I should also add that every month there's a list of 20-30 bugs that have needed fixing most of which i've never noticed or overlooked. But major bugs and issues still go ignored like hit reg, your 100t mech getting stuck on some twigs, the MCMKii is still grossly OP more than the Kodiak ever was, PPC terrain clipping (and borked hit reg), Floating shadows (as already mentioned) the UI is still a god damn mess, mechs being invisible in the mechlab or showing the wrong mech entirely and changing settings in game crashes it.

JUST STOP TINKERING WITH WEAPONS, LEAVE THEM BE.
I'm fed up of having to read every month what weapon has been screwed with.

The level of salt from the general player base is building while player numbers plummet.

Doesn't take a genius to put two and two together.

I'd just like to thank the balance makers who thought that improving the lightest energy weapons which will mostly help the Piranha due to its silly hard point numbers and speed was a good idea. I know its a very weak mech and all but ..... Posted Image

I quite like this patch, it sure isn't hitting anything out of the park. Just minor tweaks. With everyone crying about putting things on PTS (which I support) to test, the tiny team of devs couldn't add more features.
@PGI, I am seriously impressed by what actually gets delivered by such a small team, keep it up.

p.s. Urbie IIC please :)

Dekashita!!!!

Wait.. just on Mining Collective? Hopefully they will extend that to other maps such as Caustic, maybe HPG..maybe a few others.

CANYON NETWORK needs this desperately for Alpha lance - you know, the one that if it goes straight ahead on spawn runs into the enemy team in seconds and gets slaughtered. The only safe move for Alpha lance is to turn 360 degrees and run BACKWARDS through the canyon to link up with the rest of their team.

It's absurd spawn design that punishes new players.

Wait a second... PGI, why does it say "patch notes august 21" on the home page where the moving pictures are?

@Rat of the Legion Vega: Surely you mean 180 degrees, not 360 degrees, which is a full rotation back to the original direction.

This thread should be stickied and the August patch notes de-stickied.

Found a bug. Look at warning of ghost heat when you got mirco lasers mounted. Got variable names in it.

Also found another bug. My cipher isn't shoing up anywhere.

I don't think the Atlas buff was applied. It still has "Full dump truck" accel of 10.79 except for the Boar's Head, which has a decent 17.

The Viper is more mobile but it's still the Clan spider. Fast, jumpy, and not enough weapons... but without the durability quirks.

Hi everyone,

The team is aware of the Cipher issue now and looking for the solution. The Mech is still in your inventory but not displayed in the Mechlab.

Thanks for standing by!

Did want to write something, b/c you dont care anyways. And I lost hope that you will deliver something meaningfull.

However I found something positive: The dragons Arms really look nicer now. Have to give you that.

But apart from that I surely will play less until you fix Clan Alphas, LURMS, OP Lights and provide instead at least some tweaks for the gamemodes and the ingame communication.

Another patch and still not fixed:

Tell me you have no intention to fix this... it's been reported for months.

Uh, that's been reported on and off for years. Got footage of it in 2012...

Occasionally its fixed only to break again.

If only it at least had to firepower to match being that slow...

Also not my video... So much stupid crap added to it.
