I don't see how the Vape still is a support, it can front line pretty well and can poke well espically when you poptart. It skinniness and jj's alot quite a pain to rip apart if you jj around aggressively.

lul at no comparison to the griffen or shadowhawk

Sadly they are trash tier mechs that needs some buffs, not worth comparing to.

Vape is an ok brawler as long as you don't put anything in the arms, but then you can't hit things when you are in the air if everything's torso mounted. I don't mind those trade offs.

As brawlers they both beat the vapor eagle.

Yeeeh the Shadowhawk is a good brawler indeed, I recall in Solaris it was an especially solid pick in its Divison - AC20 plus 3xSRM all torso mounted in a slender JJ equipped frame is good.

Survived a game last night with 6% health in this thing. When jump jetting like a madman (which you can with the quirks and 5-6 JJ), this thing damage-spreads wonderfully (though the arms shed a bit easily).

I definitely feel a difference with the jump jets compared to say the griffin; I hope those quirks make their way to other existing chassis eventually.

heh, everytime I try to jump jet defensively I get my legs shot off while airborne. Most embarrassing.

That's because defensive jump jetting is an oxymoron.
