So you just grabbed a few screenshots? All your matches look like that? Or did you grab the good ones?

Besides the point is screenshots only tell you so much. Doesn't tell us why they are good, is the mech good? did they play great? did they just get ignored? MM aligned just right for them? etc. Anybody can post a couple of screenshots of matches that they did good in.
Or does something like this prove assaults>>>lights?

Wishmast3r played 25 games in light mechs and 249 games in other weight classes in December.
If the screenshots he posted are representative of his light performance he averages 516 match score in lights.
For his match score to be 301 with 25 games in lights averaging 516, his average in the other weight classes would need to be 279.
In August Wishmast3r did not play in lights at all and had an average match score of 304.

There is no secret to getting in a match. You just have to find a mode that has people playing. Solo quick play usually does, anything else may or may not depending on time and events.

Here is the thing for me about matches on the PTS. I'm on right now and under quickplay, I see North America as the only server on.


But there are zero lights, zero mediums, zero heavys, zero assaults shown and I have set waiting for hours. So I'm missing something. Solo is not working for me.

Nobody is playing PTS any more, you will find games on the live client.

Same thing though, you have to play when others are on. Problem is PTS will often times not have anybody on.

Okay you got me. I'm not using meta builds only. I'm using funbuilds and i'm trying to find new and different builds on my 260 mechs, while trying to get XP in QP Solo for skilling them, being stuck there with 90% noobs and getting stomped most of the time. So i apologize for my poor match score, which says **** about my knowledge of the gameplay and how mechs should be nerfed or buffed.
And of course you are absolutly right, all light mechs, no all mechs, medium, heavy and assault too, should perform absolut identicly. There is no reason for weaker or stronger mechs. And while we are at it, all weapons should be the same in damage, range and heat. This way MWO would be more fun.

Also, it seems to be stuck in an update loop for me, claiming that a patch is available every time I try to launch it, but never acknowledging the downloaded and applied patch.

No one said your match score is poor (it's better than mine actually, and I'm also permanently skilling mechs) just that the screenshots you posted were cherry picked.

I never claimed to be a great light pilot XD but I've seen a fair few over the years since closed beta. and while i do respect Serial's ability as a pilot, honestly you can chalk up his prob with lights in that he's just not that good with lights. i'm not meaning that as a bad thing, i'm just meaning his specialty is heavier stuff. it's like SovietArmada when he's in a Hunchback. I consider someone a much better pilot if they actually don't rely entirely on one weapon system and actually have some kind of backup... usually why i laugh my keister off at the guys who bring nothing by LRMs on a mech (At least swap one or two missile hardpoints for a SRM or SSRM launcher for if someone closes on you, ffs).

If you boat lurmies with no backup weapon, which I do successfully, you can make up for it with good positioning. For me it adds a layer of excitement to the match..

I can proove that these are not cherry picked. Its Wishmaster's usual performance..he is a 2k+ player in FP...without Lurming.

You guys with your silly stats...they say nothing.

You can play SoloQ with stat saving and say: "look how good i am" but actually you suck in every aspect except hiding.

The Dudes from CWCG (Wishmaster's Unit) is one of the most competent units i enjoy to play with. Idk how long this unit exists (15 years?), but they are skilled.

Wishmaster's 1st post just should show that lights are ok, but you dudes are just stat-focused epeenie-*******.

He said Lights are ok, then i believe him.

But you dudes, who are you actually?

And before you look for my Jarl's: I hate QP and just use it for Trolling and leveling. But if you doubt my words i will go into Circle of Equals with you.
