Can we please stop with the strict hardpoints that suck. This mech would be great if every variant had HP's in the torso instead of the arms. Split them up evenly, but putting all in the arms is just silly. The Lore loadout of this mech is just dumb.

Same with the Phoenix hawk, lose the arms and you're a gimp. Stop giving us these easy gimped mechs PGI.

After looking over the variants. I like them there is enough choice to do a couple of fun builds that i would enjoy. I thought the engine cap would bother me but comparing to my other rifleman i use Its not much different.

i see the iic 2 being the most mobile since i would drop an ultra ac2 and either increase engine size to cap and or switch out for 3 rac2 Tho face time will be an issue.

The iic A i see myself using the most just because of how i play rifleman's in general followed by the Hero since its a slower variant of it with JJ. i would probably put on probably any ac20 or lbx20 on the slower variants then again i like being in the mix.

The missile one seems interesting so i wouldnt mind tryin it out.

pre-ordered. See y'all on the battlefield o7

Now i need a sombrero skin

Sorry, Sage, with the Rifleman IIC being a clan chassis, there's no way right now you'll ever be able to mount RACs...

If it's the Glass Spider why no dual gauss standard load out?

The other thing is you need a larger radar dish. Put it out to the shoulders and have them count as left and right torso hit boxes.

Was excited when I seen the notice about it but huge let down that it is not fielding the standard gauss variant or the right dish size.

Glass Spider - 60 tons
Rifleman IIC - 65 tons

This is not the 'mech you are looking for

Clan RACs are a thing actually, it just took them much longer to start production (prototypes by 3073, line production 3104, widely available 3145).

I know, I know. That's why I was stating "right now". And with no incentive to advance the timeline, clans get no RACs. End of story.

Wish this thing along with the regular rifleman didn't have such large arms. For a platform that depends so heavily on it's arms it sucks that their so bulky especially at the shoulder.

Compared to this art others have shown. Much nicer slender proportions.

What makes it worse is looking at how slow it will be, all it's weapons will get blown apart in no time. Meh armor and low agility will see to that.

It's a BattleMech and there are a few ways to tell from the store page (Blood Asp page used as the comparison);
- Rifleman IIC lists "MAX ENGINE RATING" because you can change the engine
- Blood Asp does not have this listed, as the engine is fixed
- Blood Asp has things like "Fixed Structure Slot" and "Jump Jet" listed in grey instead of white, because these are fixed and cannot be changed
- Rifleman IIC has no fixed equipment
- Blood Asp lists "OMNIPOD HARDPOINTS" because it can swap OmniPods
- Rifleman IIC only lists "HARDPOINTS" because it doesn't have OmniPods
- Blood Asp lists "Available Actuators" because they can be altered
- Rifleman IIC only lists "Actuators" because they cannot be altered
There's also Lore IIC mechs are as far as i know all Battlemechs, they are based on star league designs..

You realize top speed is referred to the stock engine, right?
You realize this is not an omnimech, so engines (and jumpjets) can be modified, right?
You realize the A variant could mount in theory double gauss, 4 med, 4.5 ammo packs and XL 300, right?*
You realize the 2 variant can carry in theory 6 ac2s, right?

Why so whiny and salty?

* top speed: 74.77 kph

it looks horrible and will very likely have a terrible hitbox due to that satellite dish thing on its head.

one the easiest "nah thx, i'll pass" ever.

Originally everytime the rifleman came up and now the IIC I said the dish should be purely cosmetic and fell off/was destroyed with out blocking attacks. Which at this point would basically mean, treat it like a bolt on - however the way its designed on this IIC might make that less practical its pretty well strapped onto that head there.

So you agree that 2 out of 6 variants are worth using? Seems like you have a firm grasp on why people aren't happy.
