I would like to say that I have been waiting impatiently for this mech to make it into MWO, thank you!

How many LRMs can this bad boy fit? This is important criteria for buy or not

1. nice concept art - as usual and as expected Posted Image

2. sorry, but: not the mech we need, not the mech we (I) want. aside from the obvious hero splatvish', there's little in there we don't have already. I see why you do it anyway (cause more 3025 mechs for mw5), but ... color me unimpressed :-/

3. it's no Crusader. 'nuff said.

4. last chance to open my wallet: stay true to its namesake and give me a dancin' dervish cockpit-item. if it has 'all da funky moves', I might weaken ;)

Hmm, looks like my beloved Trebuchet is going to get some serious competetion. Not sure if the Dervish will become Meta, but missiles + jump jets will make it a nice SRM-Brawler in the 50 ton bracket.

One thing that makes me wonder is:

Why does the early adopter rewards include sherman pattern? As the Dervish is a rather Davion mech, I would have expected Davion pattern included. Just my thought.

This is the worst mechpack in game.

Geometry looks quite good, and it probably is a capable SRM bomber.

But, by Blake's blood, this is an uninspired choice if there every was one.

With the made up variants, the designers at PGI have so many possibilities to "freshen" or "spice" up the hardpoints and general role of the mech. Sadly the ones in this pack are more of the same with miniscule changes. Missed opportunity imo. I'll wait for the hero to release for MC and possibly a 50% discount. 'Mech looks awesome though!

It’s 55. Looks to have a lot of redundancy with a Griffin, only question will be agility (and of course quirks). I suspect that given the relative hard point inflation it won’t have much for quirks or frankly not much better agility. Then again the mounts aren’t on the shoulders so that may count in its favor in terms of both.

So nice to see you still do original 3025 era mechs.

Pardon me, but why does the Mech's Purchase Page not happen to have an indication of whether the Mech is Inner Sphere or Clan? It's kind of confusing, particularly for those who would want/need to know what Tech Base it runs upon. Could we have that added to the information, please? :(

Only mech that looks somewhat interesting to me is the hero. The other variants seem uninspired and pretty much all have their potential roles already being done by a variety of other missle carrying 55 tonners (Griffin, Kitaro,Bushwacker). The geometry looks decent enough, but I don’t think it’s nearly enough to get me to bite. The only thing that might change my mind would be quirks and we won’t know those for a good while yet. Just an odd choice of a mech to come out with, as the 55 ton space is already crowded with missle carriers.

The inclusion of MRMs and Medium Lasers indicates it is an IS mech.

Missile and Energy 55 tonner with JJs. We have those already... This one looks fun and capable but I'll wait for C-bill release.

Sunder/Turkina/Raptor/Kingfisher please

Are you tryyyyyying to massively piss off peeps that want LRM dead and buried due to their incompetence to counter lurms and even atm? You do know lurms are needed to be scapedgoated even if they do turn into actually *cough* competive/ usefull weapons other than harassing and sandblasting by indirect fire?

I agree with some peeps over at the red sea redditers ( stalking the beehive ) regarding making lurms more into bringing people closer to their allies instead of sitting back and lob missiles and not as out of place in a mech warrior arena shooter. STILL people there and here want to bash and whine and be dragged screeeaming into the hailstorm of missiles that mostly just tickles..

Effing glad MW 5 mercs are happening. No froathing, rabid pilots complaining about support weapons since its all about solo to co-op with a healthy dose of pummeling A. I 's
