I'm solo right now, and I've been waiting for around an hour for a match. this isn't looking good for the solo players right now.

Wow, time-based phases are a terrible idea. The last thing I want to do is log in and stare down hours of scouting to even get to an invasion match. Queue's are very one-sided now. You also might want to allow players to change role and faction for the PTS mid-phase so we can get more drops.

You can keep the phases and storylines. I'd settle for a functional MM.

Can't do it through Steam. Only through PGI launcher.

so does this mean we'll be scouting for 6 hours ? before we get to the larger battles

might mean some time zones may only get to scout, while others actually invade

yes but I can't handle that annoying beeping sound on the count down, so I step out till I see something like a 4/3, then I queue in

Regardless of the phase duration, making a fixed time will mean the death of the FP player base. Might as well force us to queue up for an hour of Solaris.

since I have 2 screens, I go to other screen to shut up that annoying sound, or tab out, get the blink for MWO when a match starts, so I know then I can TAB back to game, would rather just silence it through settings

i resent being forced to scout and there are not enough people queued to test the matchmaker...
when will the scouting change to something else?
when i have tried to search, then after a couple minutes i have tried to cancel the search (largely due to the beeping) the game just freezes.
i can see hours of solaris in my future.

Come on PGI are you guys serious? Using that broken-*** skill rating you got called PSR to gauge ELO? After years of having that ****** rating that sees people who are below the average skill level being placed in tier 1 due to the sheer number of games they played without getting better do you even think it is accurate way of measuring player skill? Paul, you made a video showing a proper ELO system but now we are using PSR for ELO. Even Solaris ELO system is a way better method of measuring player skill level than PSR any day. Now all those bads who are in T1 testing out this update will get mad that the MM is broken and they are getting matched up against way stronger pilots. Not exactly what you want to achieve when you want to bolster FP's population.

And why would you run a PTS from Monday to Thursday when you want to gather maximum feedback? Shouldn't you run it on a weekend instead? Or at least extend it through the weekend?

If I were you guys, I wouldn't be proud of this update. The main reason why people don't play FP is due to one-sided games. Is using a broken skill rating going to help solve this issue? ******* no.

are you solo dropping or Group queue ?
I've just been waiting for more Marik, to queue up, not enough Marik, Plenty of Steiner , that is in Solo drop, not sure what's going on in Group Queue
