To everyone struggling to get 500 match score: stick ATMs, TAG, and AMS on your favorite clan heavy and rake in the points. It's silly easy with such a setup.

Edit: To elaborate, ATMs farm damage to pad your match score while TAG and AMS give you easy teamwork points.

Got engines for upcoming mech pack releases.

Couple hundred cool shots at half price isn't going to hurt either. Just wish we could do more then 10 at a time.

I have played around 10 games so far I think, and have yet to see a single person on either team get a matchscore of 500 yet. I got 448 once, and saw someone else get a 480 but that's the closest one I have seen.

I got 3/5 and ~5 games over 450 but Incursion is just a lie.

I've figured out a way to get easy 500 matchscores!
Apparently there is a mech that easily does it, 800 matchscore, no sweat!

Is this for QP only though, or would Solaris and FP be allowed? I was not seeing anything saying it was restricted to QP...

And the event includes FP and Solaris specific goals.

And if 500ms is allowed via FP.. I know of a few active posters who will have a tough time getting 500 damage across 4 mechs in FP.on a win, much less 500 MS....... One is an active poster in the Newbie forum.... /chuckles

For those struggling to get even one 500 match score, you need to change your style of play. It requires ACTIVE engagement. I have 3 mechs that regularly break 500, and they're all played as ultra aggressive skirmishers. MRM brawler, ATM boat, and MPLAS flanker. Constantly ride the redline.

ATMs are fun but they're not magic bullets for 500 score. You need to constantly maintain that 120m-optimal range distance, which means constantly moving and high map awareness

The only reason worth complaining about 500 ms being impossible is because the team mates from the general pool are generally garbage for the average player. PSR does nothing, I've been tier 4 since 2016 and its maybe moved a sliver despite it telling me 90% of the time its going up, but then there are matches where you get no points for winning based on PTFO. If the vast majority of players didnt nascar around the maps and treat everything like skirmish and just spamming their fancy RAC2s or other weapons that have slow TTK, maybe...JUST MAYBE, people would have an easier time getting better results.

TL;DR Blue team is a pile of garbage and Red team is a constant trash incinerator.

Also stop choosing highlands or big open maps because people dont need to justify getting lrms in their supply caches you sadists

I'm done with the event, but it is harder to hit 500 during events. Be persistent and see how you can improve your skills after each win and loss. Also, I manage to grab 1 of every engine in the game. I had 270 million and spent it all to just a mere 10 million . Putting a hole in my wallet is a huge understatement.

This game is played by primarily people who are 30+ years old so of course there will be Metal Heads.
