1. Tanks, VTOL's, Aircraft. There is so much variety here and I would love to see a similar system like MW:LL where people could pilot them. Make the primary focus mechs but have maybe 1 slot open in light/medium/heavy/assault in each lance reserved for these kind of vehicles. If it's too much work, then make them consumables as temporary allies or NPC's that prespawn on the map for certain game modes. Possibly add infantry as well.
2. More MW2'ish scenarios like escorting a supply train depot, but implemented differently so it doesn't turn into a dumpster fire like the atlas escort game mode. Suggest ideas to the community before it is implemented into the game, and actually listen to the community and feedback before implementing them.
3. An upgrade from the Crytec engine over to Unreal. Crytec is really holding what I believe could be MW:O's full potential. If they ported MW:O over fully then this alone will raise enough interest in future investments with the game.
4. FP that both honors loyalist but still plays out lore scenarios. The only reason why I'm suggesting this is that Smoke Jaguar still exists in the game, even though they were completely wiped out by the time that the Civil War update was integrated into the game. Bring back IS vs IS and Clan vs Clan skirmishes, but implement a system where faction loyalists can switch sides temporarily if the population isn't there to balance things out.
5. Resupply stations and repair bays in FP. Make them destructible, but also capturable areas that teams have to fight for and challenge so that they have high strategic value on certain maps. Force players to cover their team mates while they repair and re-arm their mechs, but make them exposed to enemy fire. I like the idea of having risk and reward situations if things start to get stale during a match.
6. An Underwater map and a zero G map on a jumpship's surface for QP. I'd like to see a system that converts SRM's MRM's, LRM's etc to SRT's, MRT's, and LRT's for interesting visual effects in underwater combat and a map that takes place on top of a large jumpship similar to the Ghost Bear's Legacy mission.
7. A general revisit and rebalance of under performing and non-popular mechs, some new weapon systems that already exist from the current timeline, switchable ammo types and a global buff to both clan and IS laser weapon systems.
I could probably brainstorm more but that is all that I have for now. PGI could probably pull just one of these ideas from this list and it would make me seriously dump more money into the game.
