The Supernova, MKII, Orion IIC, Mad Dog. Timber Wolf, Night Gyr (just to name a few) beg to differ with your first statement. And before you reply, none of the IS Mechs that I regularly pilot have LRMS or even MRMs on them.

Has anyone else noticed that the double heat sinks are all of a sudden worse than the single heat sinks?
My doubles can dissipate .5 right now, where as my singles can dissipate .75. WTF PGI.

You are mixing dissipation and capacity and no, not all of a sudden, this was patched in October 2018.
Capacity: DHS=0,5 SHS=0,75
Dissipation: DHS=0,22 SHS=0,14

Yeah, it was a really bad balancing decision made to satisfy the people who cry that "everything needs to be viable in MWO". SHS are older tech and DHS are supposed to be all-around-better. You can make older tech viable, by having a "3025" queue.
