Did you forget to mention with full refunds while letting people keep their preorder MW:O content?

I don't know about you, and I may not like their decision, but at least they are letting us refund if we don't like it without having to give up pre-order stuff gifted for MW:O or out right denying "a portion" of the refund because of it.

I'll give them credit where it's due, the exclusivity change to Epic may not be popular (nor what was promised), but at least they are letting people back out if they want.

I like the GSP Reward but I think Accumulate 100 Kill or Kill Most Damage Dealt for only get 10 of them is extremely try hard event..

That does seem a tad high for just the GSP. I think it's probably that high mostly for the reward Warhorn... which still is a little high in my opinion.

I would mention we have 10 days to do this in, so 10 Kills or KMDDs a day?

Edit: Thankfully it's not just kills, but also KMDDs. I recall events in the past involving kills only... That would have been worse. 100 kills... Blah.

Let us agree to keep our anger in the MW5-Release-Day thread and welcome Matt back to business, shall we.

I doubt he is to blame for the current situation. I agree that i feel a lot less motivated by the events knowing that i might never get to play some mechs i own fully skilled (even with GSP) because, well "End of Life": Meh

But having some progress bars to fill up is strangely still a motivator ;-)
Whatever helps to keep the player count up :-/

Except for the elusive saviour-kills these goals also seem very reasonable too - gj matt.

Seems more grindy than try-hardy.

If you wanted to make a completely unreasonable try-hard event, you should just leave an open-ended matchscore requirement with rewards at increments of 100. So first time you get 100 MS you get a prize, 200 matchscore you get a prize, etc...

You could also do it with kills, assists, KMDDs, solo kills, etc... in a single match, which would really drive people nuts!

You could call the event: SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!

Was beginning to wonder about the lack of a new event after the constant stream of events the last few months. Glad to see a nice event laid out and also glad to see the increase in rewarded GSP. Keep it up guys!

You know I think PGI does way too many events, but last week there wasn't an event and I missed having one.
Also the last event from two weeks ago the prizes felt... kinda crappy. It's like PGI had run out of prizes.
This time the prizes are great, and I'm looking forward to them.
And cherry on top, I like the event conditions better then most previous events too

Decent rewards and decent, grind-y challenges. Nicely done. I'd have loved for more than 10 GSP as a reward but it's reasonable nonetheless.
