MW5 isn't MWO 2.0. The mechs that fit into the timeline will be present and purchasable from the factions that build them...at least that is what we know.

how long does it take to get the refund ? i cancelt my preorder 2 weeks ago and didnt get any money back yet

Can someone even prove that Tencent is spying on you. Just beeing a chinese company isn't enough. Also why do you think you are importend enough that the chinese goverment is interested in you?
Except you are the boss of a very large company or a president or something you are not of any interest to them, you are NOT importend. No one cares for what games you play. When you put in your bank account, thats your fault, you shouldn't do that anywhere.

Also its partial an US company so you could also say the US is spying on you because that is what the US does all the time to its allies and it dosn't even hide it. Like asking Apple openly to put in a backdoor into their products and spying on the german goverment and then say "that is what allies do, don't be a *****".
If anything you should be concerned that you give away your data to US companies.

No. Nobody can prove that Tencent is spying on you. And while I put no credence in the rumors about this, it is a fact that Tencent owns WeChat and likely follows Chinese government "regulations" regarding the privacy of that platform.

If someone can show that Tencent has contributed code to Epic's platform, or that Epic turns over consumer information to Tencent, I would reevaluate my opinion on this. But really, if Tencent is in the business of spying on westerners through the companies it invests in, I would be far more worried about Discord. https://discordapp.com/company

Same here.

The plan is one year exclusivity, after it MW5 should appear on other platforms.
Assuming PGI is still in business by then, and assuming they will not renew the exclusivity deal.

I'm not quite sure, but if PGI will not renew the Mechwarrior license (when exactly does it expire, please remind me? Should expire before MW5 exclusivity ends, no?), then they'll have no right to sell a Mechwarrior game since, probably including new copies on EGS too.

So, take this "one year exclusivity" with a pinch of salt, PGI isn't exactly the paragon of integrity.

So lets ignore these 3 ******** "features"
- Access to Discord (was only for the "AMA" which turned out to be...)
- AMA & I'll ignore you to wax poetic like a politician to sell you my vision/product.
- Mod maker section on epic is like 1990s again, just a few hardcore modder websites that are mostly unknown.
And now that leaves us with:

$80 Collectors edition, became $50 Standard Edition
$120 Ultimate edition, became $60 Deluxe Edition

So $120 to get 2 camo jobs (that like MWO I expect to soon be a DLC) and...
A month or less of Beta access to a company that will ignore our collective views on game play,
AND ignore our beta bug reports..........................
Oh but what rewards do we get for ignoring PGI's lying by not getting a $120 refund... Sweet Firetruck Nothing!!!

Well its time for that support ticket and best of luck with MW5:M, I will just stick with MWO thank you.

Why I never pre-order. They straight up used BattleTech fans to get the epic deal then threw them aside. They probably hope that Fortnite players will buy it in droves and replace all of us.
