Yes, the mechs and weapons are scarce. Because it's pre-clan invasion era. When mechs were scarce. I mean it literally tells you at the beginning of the game that half your mech is 500 years old..
Ok,friendly A.I. could use some work, and enemies spawning on top of you is a bit wonky, but not to such rage-quit levels the OP is displaying. And certainly not better than super-scripted and always-the-same MW4.
Hell, I'd trade ANYTHING that MW4 does better than MW5 just for MW5's procedurally generated maps. That one feature alone makes MW5 golden for me. Insane replay value.
But when you're used to camping the same spot in your meta-mech, or nascaring the same way and backstabbing in your broken hitbox Assassin, like some people obviously are in MWO, I guess MW5 won't be the game for you.
You can always play MW4. Or Tetris.

I can see about an elevator or perhaps having you "spawn" on the bridge overlooking the mech rather than on the floor. If you look at the bridge it has a platform on each that's supposed to load you into the cockpit...
I don't know if it would hold or if there's a dozen copies of the dropship to spawn back into, but if it works for every time you come back then the easiest solution is you spawn back on the platform alongside the bridge.
This presents a new problem -- Fahad is still downstairs. And people want Fahad to actually work on the mechs so we can't really put him upstairs.

For once the Mechs have scale. I never think I am walking my mech through a forest of bonzai trees. Fine detail in the trees and vehicles could be better, but the game has to run on a wide range of PC's so I can't complain. Yep these are 30 foot tall giant stompy robots and not quakewarrior.
Oh yeah. Why are there no Clan mechs in MW5....yet? Because they arrive in MW5's expansion pack in 3050. Yes, and that will build on what we have now.
But, I dunno. MW5 has some good things that shake up the storeyline like finding a Warhammer 6D at level 5 in some unknown commercial hub and scrapping up just enough CBills to buy it!

I can't believe russ ******** and piggy think they are going to sell 1 million copys of this joke of a game, especially after screwing over the community with egs. This is a massive joke.
Im not disagreeing with you in regards to the quality of MW5, I agree it is not good. I do have to say that a lot of your complaints seem to demonstrate that you never played the other MW games. They ported a lot of the same features from those games straight over...IE the weapons Slots. A lot of your complaints with the elements were excluded in MW5, are features that were only in MWO which tells me that MWO was your introduction to the MechWarrior Universe, which is fine. You just need to realize a lot of the things they ported over was to appeal to the people who played the other MW over the years. Might make you dislike the game so much.
