I'm a new player, began playing MWO during these corona lockdowns and have been loving it

I enjoy IS mechs more for Assaults and Heavies because of their quirks, the armor addition helps so much for "in your face" fighting
For lighter mechs, clan mechs allow you to carry more weapons

tbh, MRMs alone sold me on IS mechs, lol

Clan, I like the style of the clan mechs, and hell, that's all I own... Not big on IS, doesn't help that I don't own any, maybe someday. What I really love is speed to weight! Manuverability of the weight, and getting arround! Slowest mech I own is the MCII, and MAD-II-SC

Variety does suck as far a chasiss are concerned, but, can get decent variety of builds in the same chasis through omni pods.

PIR-1, ACH-Prime, VGL-1, MDD-Prime (2), MDD-B, MDD-RV, MDD-BA, TBR-Prime, TBR-S, MAD-II-SC, MCII-2, MCII-4, MCII-B, MCII-DS, BAS-Prime(s), BAS-Rancor, BAS-A, BAS-B need to buy more, just don't know what I want!

sorry to hear/read that, mate. still, pls apply basic logic when going into that "IS > Clan" nonsense;

the IS stuff weights more, so it has to perform better for the extra tonnage/critspace .. it's not hard to figure out, sorry.
