Secondly, all mechs don't torso-twist at the same speed or even have the same yaw angle. The engine desync initiated by PGI, I am told back in 2017 or something (I wasn't around at that time so correct me if I'm wrong), has made sure that many mechs aren't fun anymore to play. What do I mean by that? Try playing a Kodiak for starters or even the Arctic Cheetah or Cougar.
PGI did the engine desync when they also switched to the new Skill Tree, so both the desync AND the removal of the Mastered Skill tree that provided a boost for speed/agility. (everyone had to same Skill tree if it was maxed out) Of course PGI could have reduced the default percentage but their outlook was to play on making quirk or chassis adjustments.
This was the "placeholder" skill tree for several years _ plus modules... the current Skill Tree combines the original ST and the modules into in increments...
