You do realize that making the reticule bob up and down based on movement will only hamper the terribads while the already-good players will adapt to it?

Secondly, all mechs don't torso-twist at the same speed or even have the same yaw angle. The engine desync initiated by PGI, I am told back in 2017 or something (I wasn't around at that time so correct me if I'm wrong), has made sure that many mechs aren't fun anymore to play. What do I mean by that? Try playing a Kodiak for starters or even the Arctic Cheetah or Cougar.

PGI did the engine desync when they also switched to the new Skill Tree, so both the desync AND the removal of the Mastered Skill tree that provided a boost for speed/agility. (everyone had to same Skill tree if it was maxed out) Of course PGI could have reduced the default percentage but their outlook was to play on making quirk or chassis adjustments.

This was the "placeholder" skill tree for several years Posted Image_ plus modules... the current Skill Tree combines the original ST and the modules into in increments...

Was the Quirk system in place already or did it come after the implementation of the current version of the skill tree? It looks like PGI double-tapped the fun out of the "action-FPS" portion of this game and kept doing more and more with the nerfing of the quirks.

It was already in place, and on some chassis the quirks were quite a bit more pronounced at the time - for example, the AWS-8R could stack up to 47% cooldown on LRM-15s combining the quirks, Fast Fire (5%) and cooldown module (12% IIRC).

The LB-10 quirked centurion could hit 57% cooldown right up to the day they patched in the skill tree. Then there was that time they gave a quickdraw a 1000% missile cooldown by mistake.

1000% missile cooldown was only a test server error, that never went live.

They should have made it a permanent "feature".

Or at least an April Fools special; every year, for one day, insanity rules.

A limited time only Corgi vs. 1000% cooldown QuickDraw April fools day event would bring out the masses to play.

It would be hilarious for a long weekend.

The corgi not being introduced as a 20 ton jump capable mech is the single greatest waste of opportunity in the history of MWO.
