Seriously everyone boats LRMs, ECM, Arty strikes for FW and after seeing a clan wave consisting almost entirely of Blood Asps it got me wondering. All i can think of when plinking away with Ac/2s is how much cooler it would be if everyone was doing it sooo... how many are willing to throw away the meta in favor of lulz?

Honestly I could not think of a worse idea or a faster way to throw a match.

You'll get popped by PPC and disarmed by ERLL at the engagement distances you are referring to lol. Honestly there are few maps in which Long Range trading is the main battle. You should be working with your team, using your own strikes etc.

Dropped last night w/ kras, I just don't think its the right thing for every match. If you're on siege attack bringing AC2's that's not optimal...

Yeah, thats a mixed group. Not as much anymore but when there was 3 or more they used to drop nothing but max range ac2 mechs (occasionally ERLL), even on siege attack

Yeah true, ill take your word for it. I still rather have people on the attack push rather then sitting back outside of gate.

Depends on how good the lulz are. If I saw 12 ac2 centurions, I would forget about it the next day. It's not even particularly bad. It's kinda just organized mediocrity. Maybe, something along the lines of 12 mechs with 90% armor on the back, and everyone 180 degree torso twisting, and doing a good job of it might actually get a laugh and be memorable, for example.

if its ultraviolets, thats like 22 dps with very little heat. works at any range. with multiple uvs and focus fire you can get over 200 dps on a single target.

hey try it (if you can get 12 people to work together)
like these guys tried diff stuff
in fact it would be a good challenge to see what 12 man challenge could out do other 12 man challenge

Most of the time ends up 24-12.
Pretty ridiculous.

I think there's an unwritten rule that, if a group of em ever crosses the rubicon (in their case the siege-gates), they spontaniously burst into flames;
yes, they know their stuff. and yes, I still get grumpy over such behavior.

Oh come now. Surely you can think of both.
In most matches, if you are semi oranised enough, it doesn't matter what you bring.
Occassionally I'll do something super dumb. I remember recently ASN/Polar - Not even using cover, just pure YOLO NSR - and only 8 of us. First wave went bad but 2nd wave it was easily dunked.
So yeah, it kinda doesn't matter. I suspect the OP is not organised though.

yes it does, bring spiders with no leg and torso armour, xl engines, one machine gun and ammo. Honestly nothing surprises me in this game anymore
