You didn't have to, big engine stomp meta and murder balling are the genesis of the dual rotation event called Nascar.

Your not really detracting from my statement.

It is still better to call targets and focus fire than it is to enjoy some weird armor fantasy.
Killing mechs triggers win conditions, sharing, pooling, and spreading do not trigger win conditions.

Health pooling isn't a fantasy. Moving as a group is a form of health pooling.

We've already had this discussion, in which you were proven wrong.

Health pooling directly contributes to fight attrition and disabling or killing mechs, which triggers the win condition.

Nope...It does not.
When you are exposed and the enemy team calls your letter and focuses fire on your mech, the rest of your team can believe in health pooling, cabbages, and magical sky gods all they want and it still will not save you.

That's armour sharing. Health pooling is what you call it.

No it doesn't. It directly contributes to the survival of your own group. It has no direct effect on the enemy.

It's possible for an entire team to "pool health" without firing a single shot.

Or to put it another way, when you're stripped of weapons you can still "pool health". You can't focus fire without weapons.

I did not say "overexposed." I said "exposed"

It does not matter if you are standing in the middle of your team. If the enemy team calls you as a target and at lest a few members can focus fire on you, you are toast. You can make believe that a team member standing next to you will magically draw fire or lend you armor all you want.

It will not matter against focused fire from a competent team.

From what I understand of the armor sharing argument, if you do not, you are not presenting yourself as a target and you are using your team as a meat shield.

Apparently if you are not presenting yourself as a target then you cannot draw fire.

For quick play your build is just fine.

Quick Play is a sewer.

Everything is fine in a sewer.

Left turns only.

Good ******* God, how long has this game been out? Y'all talk about deathballing as if it's some new method going through a trial and error phase. It isn't a new concept.

I guess in FP it's somewhat different on a siege map but every other game mode plays relatively the same way to QP other than having 4 tries and a longer time limit.

This isn't rocket science.

you'd expect it to right? but for some reason it doesn't, on average it seems FP draws players with a more team oriented mindset

I know it does if it's randoms vs randoms.

An actual 12 man, even if everyone is just average, will just dominate. It's pretty much group que.

Yes, health pooling contributes directly to fighting attrition. Dead mechs can't shoot.

The rest of your statement basically agrees with mine. lol

Omnifail lizard brain wrong anyways. Dude has two has modes; NSR a single person that hurt his feelings on the internet no matter what is going and hiding.

At least run 3ERLL, have some self respect.

In terms of the armor sharing topic, it's not cut & dry imo. Heavily damaged mechs should learn to cycle to the back line before they die, & continue getting shots off without taking return fire. You can't expect your team's ranged mechs to proactively move up to the front lines unless you have some real Shane Battier unselfish players on your side.

Nice rollback. You keep redefining those terms.
